Sell furniture looked at beds. Staff was attentive and knew what they were talking about and what they wanted to sell you for the best commission....I can spot the sale push. But they have nice furniture.

We bought furniture late December last year. We were told it would be April to May but after a few months it came about the end of June. Some of the things ordered were not what we had asked for and after two or three unsuccessful deliverys we ended up with something that was not what we ordered. Staff at Dundee branch were good but aftercare was awful. Trying to deal with customer service was terrible. Ont think I would deal with the company again. We spent a good few thousand pounds. ?

Waited ONE year for all of my items to be delivered, the order worth 4k! One of the sideboards have an broken door, I called immidiately and send an email. 11 months later, my sideboard door is still broken after more than ten times contact with them. Today is 24/10/2022 and I've made my order on 06/04/2021 :) PS Together with my wife slept on an airbed for almost a year because of their "quick" delivery ... it's a shame there is no option for zero stars!

Awful, do not go near them. I bought tv stand in July and got it delivered twice as both times furniture was very damaged. I still don't have refund despite over 20 contacts trying to get money back

Over the past few months we have updated our bedrooms and our dining room furniture. The quality of the furniture is excellent and is some of the best packaged I have seen on delivery. The Customer Service we received was superb and would like to thank Margaret Hay for the professional way she dealt with us. Her knowledge on the furniture was superb and the information she gave us was excellent. Everything from the store visit in Dundee to the delivery was perfection along with the updates regarding delivery etc. One item was very slightly delayed due to the ongoing transport issues in the UK but we were informed well in advance. Good job Oakland Furnitureland, you put many of your competitors to shame.Best wishes, Susan & Gordon

Absolutely shocking customer service. Furniture purchased and paid in full July 2021for delivery in Sept. Four cancelled delivery dates and 2 promised dates with only partial delivery received. 8 months on, still waiting for the last item. Asked to contact them URGENTLY on a specific tel no re issue with delivery - 95 minutes in a queue and still no answer. Impossible to get hold of them - I will never purchase from this company again and would not recommend them at all. Wouldn't even give one star but unable to post review without allocating at least one star!

Ordered a new dining set in the Dundee store on the 28th December and was told delivery would be available by mid January. Eventually got an email around the 10th of January asking us to pick a delivery date. Closest one was February the 8th so we went with that. On the 6th February we received an email telling us that due to Brexit the ship containing our dining set couldn?t dock and our delivery would be delayed. We were offered the 18th of February which we accepted. On the 6th of February we received a delivery slot of 1330-1630 which was perfect. At 1555 on the day of planned delivery, while my wife was on hold to customer services, we received an email saying that due to weather our delivery was cancelled! Our next available slot? Middle of April! By this time we had got rid of our old set and were left with nowhere to eat meals. All that was offered was an apology. Absolutely disgusting customer service. Order cancelled so now we?ve to start this whole process again with nowhere to sit and eat.

Shop staff in Dundee nice,I ordered corner sofa got delivery within a week delivery driver refused to take the corner bit of sofa in house as said it wouldn't fit then goes on to ask if I want the rest off sofa I said no he then goes on to say the recliners probably wouldn't fit through door either considering they didn't leave the van and the backs of them come offi,I then got a phone call from their office to see if I wanted them to try again I said no as he wasn't trying to get the sofa in ,I went back into shop spoke to manager he put in my complaint to head office they haven't got in touch that's 2 weeks now,I also got charged £50 for delivery that never took place and I could've had 4 delivery choices at different prices but was only offered the 2 highest delivery price I was also willing for them to re deliver from thereown delivery guys and not the same guys from an outside company the delivery guys also came with no masks on and also told me I wouldn't get anywhere going back to shop as they had made there sale,and they have had bother delivering this same sofa before which the shop denied so I'm out of pocket for delivery charge and no sofa there obviously not bothered at losing nearly 2 grand in sales dissatisfied is an understatement
