Room nice and clean but a bit dated, friendly staff on arrival. The hotel doesn't offer breakfast or meal deal but plenty of fast food options in walking distance if needed. Overall as you would expect for Premier Inn.

Staff friendly and the room ok, location isn?t the best. The carpark for the cinema and fast food restaurants next door seems to be the haunt for the local boy racer crowd, its midnight as I?m writing this review as I can hear them practising their donuts and testing their pop and bang features. It?s not the best soundtrack for a good nights sleep. An additional note this hotel doesn?t have a breakfast facility at all.

You pay £15 for wifi from Virgin and if you put your phone down for 2 seconds it disconnects , and then you have to try time and time again to get it reconnected. Doesn't seem to matter if its a mobile , laptop or tablet.. Thus is the 2nd week of the same thing. Also note there is no Vodafone service in this Premier Inn at all..

Had a disability room...It was lovely and the best kitted out bathroom I've seen in hotels....Staff were lovely and very helpful....Will be back the next time in Dundee....Busses for the town centre are at the back of the hotel...Perfect....57 and 59.....Drop off at the Overgate centre short walk to the V&A and Discovery experience......Noteworthy details: Weaver Mill restaurant next door very reasonable prices for meals...£11 for 2 main meals...

I've stayed here before, a good few years ago but it's gone well downhill since then, upon arrival, disabled parking was full with work vans with no blue badges which was the same throughout my visit, 2 men were smoking weed outside upon arrival and the corridors inside reeked of weed on the ground and first floor ?I had children in our party and they asked what the funny smell was ? won't be staying there again.

We were travelling down to Cambridge from Orkney when my husband had an accident and broke his femur. He was taken to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee and my daughter and I stayed at this Premier Inn. We ended up staying for four days. The kindness and compassion shown by the staff was exceptional and I must mention Sean and Alfie who went out of their way to help. The rooms were on point with everything we needed. I can't recommend this place enough x

My mum and I found ourselves in Dundee travelling south to visit family, after my stepdad broke his femur halfway through the journey and was rushed to the Ninewells Hospital. It was gone 11pm before we knew it, and so we needed somewhere to stay asap. I phoned the hotel and explained the situation to Alfie, the receptionist on duty that night, and he was exceptionally helpful and genuinely caring towards us. We ended up staying several nights as my stepdad required surgery. The rest of the hotel team were amazing - Sean in particular was so helpful to my mum finding a garage when the brakes on her car failed, and he helped me sort out a booking I?d messed up? The rooms were very comfortable and clean too. My mum and I are both autistic and ADHD, and the staff were so supportive and understanding of us which went a long way towards making a difficult time so much easier. A huge thanks again to you guys - you honestly have been amazing. If we ever find ourselves in Dundee again we?ll be back - hopefully under better circumstances this time!??

I have recently stayed at this hotel for almost a week where I used it as a base for traveling the wider area. The location of the hotel is ideal with many places to eat and a Cinema on the doorstep. All staff were very friendly and chatted away whenever I initiated small talk. I may be a Solo Traveller but I am from a busy sociable family and conversation is a very important part of the journey of going away yourself. Credit to the team who were happy to chat and to those who simply smiled or acknowledged me when passing through the reception area. A smile goes a long way. On this particular stay, the Hotel was recieving new beds. I woke up to a printed note explaining they would need access to the room. I arranged for this to be done within an hour of asking and when I arrived back it had been done and the bed was made up. I was very happy at this and was so thankful I left the whole team a tub of Chocolates upon checking out. The room was clean, the only niggle I had was that the Shower wasn't that powerful but this seems commonplace across the board unless you get the Plus rooms (not available here). The noise levels within the hotel were good, you only heard people coming and going in the corridors and minimal sounds coming through the walls from the rooms next door. External noise was acceptable with traffic noises and I also had the pleasure of hearing a wonderful Robin singing on the Tree's most days. The room temperature was between 21 and 25c throughout my stay and whilst it wasn't always ideal a fan was provided which at least kept air circulating and I slept fine with the window open and a screen to keep insects out. Finally, as with other Premier Inn's there is an easy to access HDMI input so bring a FireStick. My phone network was EE with a slow 4G speed, thankfully I have a 4G Router with my connected with 3 which also has slow speed but enough to stream content during the evenings. I'll return to this Hotel upon my next Dundee visit.

The reception staff were really helpful and friendly. Unfortunately I tend to agree with the previous reviews, it was a noisy hotel, externally with traffic and internally with ( sounds like) creaky floorboards. Not the best location being near fast food, cheap food outlets and cinema. It was a useful base for us to visit Perth, Dundee and Dunkeld.

Very good premier inn, but visitors should be aware that no premier Inn breakfast is available here.
