Abysmal customer service. Staff who don't know what they are doing sometimes, and if you like standing in a queue for ages waiting to be served, then this is the bank for you ! Recent refurbishment left only two teller spaces, and the resultant queues can run out the door on to the street. Have started moving my accounts to another bank where they actually appreciate their customers !

Great bank. Helpful staff. No complaints. By the way, Google reviews get a poor score from me. The four reviews up until now have an average score of THREE stars, not ONE.

I would agree with the other reviewer here. Absolutely dreadful bank in every way. We have both business and joint accounts here and cannot wait to leave. Not only have they refurbished the branch with just two cashiers, the cashiers who can be bothered to actually serve seem to be more interested in chatting about theirs and others personal lives. I am not interested in whether they are having wine tonight, I just want to go in and do my banking please. When I have actually asked a random cashier if they could go behind a till when there is a queue, I am met with a blank stare and told they are not on till duty. There is a male cashier there who will not even meet your eye, preferring to stare at his screen while even handing back papers. A real disgrace, no training in customer care or general courtesy. I make sure now when I go in I only use a machine to make deposits, otherwise my blood pressure rises sky-high.

Disgraceful banking provision in a Bank which has to serve all the businesses and private banking personnel for a vast number of people in the east of Dundee AND Monifieth. You are left waiting for ages for service, and that is NOT the fault of the staff which can only amount to two cashiers most of the time. The Monifieth Branch was closed a number of years ago and now the town has more than doubled in size with all the new housing constructed. Think of all the possible mortgages that have been lost by RBS and the number of private persons have moved Bank because of this ridiculous situation and service. I've been with RBS for 50 years but will be moving soon. Head office does not seem to care and obviously has no knowl,edge of the geographical area.
