Becareful buying from this argos. They sell you preowned items. I bought a brand new Samsung Galaxy watch 4 from here and quickly realised that the seal was broken and it was taped over with scotchtape. I went to the Fort Argos and they swapped it over no problem. The said that they should have never done that.

Anna the store manager is not capable of doing her job quite clearly, I have been sent from the Apple store in regards to consumer law rights act, and at first completely disregarded what I had to say, then threaten me with security to then eventually tell me she can offer a partial refund. She had no customer service skills and I would not recommend anyone visit this store! Argos as a company are joke! And now I will be speaking to trading standards as the staff at this store which is next to my house isn?t capable of doing their job I have to travel into Glasgow city centre

Staff are shockingly not interested and look as if they are forced to be there.I ordered two car seats to pick up the next day. I went down the following day to be told I had ordered only one! My two Grandson's were sitting in the trolley! I event pointed out the girl who took my order. And of course she only remembered me ordering one cat seat! Rather than standing arguing with them I requested another seat to then be told they didn't have anymore in stock!! OMG! The store in Silverburn had one. Ok, but since I was purchasing an item under £50 I would not get to pay it over 3 months but if I had the two car seats I ordered it would have taken me over the £50 and I could have the 3 month option. Ok, Supervisor wrote on my receipt to give to staff at Silverburn and they would put it through their till to allow for the 3 months interest free. And you won't be surprised to hear Supervisor at Silverburn would or could not do it.Useless, rude, uninterest staff. Will not shop with Argos again.

Costumer service is rubbish. Went there to get a baby gate. Waited 15 minutes after they had called my number for collection. Eventually came back and said they couldn't find it. Asked me to go to another store to pick it up. Now driving to another store 15 minutes away. Public transport it would be well over an hour. Thanks Argos for wasting my time.

I visited here the other day to buy a new PS4. I withdrew £250 out of the hole in the wall outside Sainsburyâ??s in which this Argos is situated. The staff member at the till counted the money I handed over to her, and said she would need to speak to a manager as one of the £20 notes had a torn end! I almost had to pinch myself at this point. I explained to them that I had just lifted the money from the cash machine outside the shop. The manager and the staff member refused to accept it, and I found them extremely rude and condescending to say the least. I left Argos without making the purchase, and I went down the isle to Sainsburyâ??s customer service to explain what had just happened. They said the note was legal tender, as it only had a very small part ripped off the end, and they exchanged it for me straight away. The Sainsburyâ??s staff member even went to check if they had any PS4â??s in stock in Sainsburyâ??s, after I told them I wasnâ??t going back to Argos. Unfortunately, they didnâ??t have any in stock. I drove to Asda not far away, and I purchased the PS4 from there instead. The PS4 was actually for my 12 year old daughter after our old PS4 packed in after 5 years, and I wouldnâ??t see her go without. Argos lost a sale of £250, and I definitely wonâ??t be going back there in future. The staff are an utter disgrace.
