It started so well, but now a joke of a place always understaffed, little stock and no leadership!! Not blaming staff but Tesco !! Always one person on tills and they don't ring bell as there is nobody to come and help - either staff the place or close it !!

As always I am always able to get what I went for, staff are always friendly and chatty at tills, havent really ever had to wait too long in cue to be served either, only downside is it is a bit more expensive to shop here than it would somewhere like morrisons or iceland but it's open to 11pm which is really handy if you forget something for kids packed lunch or their bottles water

This Tesco Express is located at Westwood Square in East Kilbride. It?s not located within the more established Westwood Square shopping area though, it has been established outside the Square, at the area where the Westwood Bar sits. There is a free car park with designated disabled bays, but these also service the Westwood Square shops. In my honest opinion, the landlords of this shopping space really need to upgrade the parking space with clearly defined parking spaces for all and a clearly defined entrance and exit to the car park. Just now its just a free for all and at times can be quite a hairy place to park.To access the Tesco Express as a disabled person, you have to navigate the very busy car park and cross a small service road, in which people park despite the double yellow lines marked on the road, before you get to the shop. The shop itself has a ramp for less able bodied and a set of stairs for the able bodied. There is a cash machine at the front of the store. Inside the shop is where I have most difficulty as the aisles are very narrow. I am not a wheelchair user, I walk with difficulty and I use either crutches or walking sticks depending on how the MS is behaving. It?s safe to say I have a large awkward gait and require a lot of room when walking. It?s just not possible in this store, for me anyway. The store is a welcome addition though, as it has a wide range of stock, everything you would need if you had forgotten something for your dinner. The staff are always friendly and help you out if you require it. The store is busy most days, but to avoid the crowds, don?t go at lunch time as the kids from the local High School go there at dinner time and the place is mobbed. This is true of any area of the Square at this time. This area of Westwood is generally very busy all the time as there is a lot of shops, take-away restaurants, bookmakers and of course the Westwood Bar.

Good product selection for Express Tesco.

Ramp up to shop. Aisles on the tight side, cluttered. Prices above what you pay in main shop. Takes advantage of local people needing something quickly.

Staff friendly but always putting out new stock at any given time of the day. Making it harder to get about with a pram or frame.
