Unlike where I am from. If you are in the bank before closing, they just prevent new entries but finish up with those inside. I was surprised to find out they ask you to leave but politely. The good thing is that I was able to resolve my problems the next day.

Went in without ID to order statements for my account and the woman completely dismissed me and told me there?s nothing they can doI explained I could show my online banking and answer security questions but she told me no.Leaving me in a panic as I need my statements for my tax return. I have lost my ID and would be looking at a long wait on it arriving.I Then went into the leith kirkgate branch and they where able to check my security questions and online banking. They ordered my statements in minutes with no problem at all.Seemed the woman at St. John?s road was just on a power trip or likes telling people no lol.

Complete time wasters, went in yesterday to get some statements printed out. They could not print out what I required as their maximum was 3 months worth in branch b,ut I was assured that if I printed them out myself at home and brought them in they would verify them and then stamp them for me....Today I went in with everything ready to be checked and stamped only to be told that they cannot stamp it as its not printed in the branch!! They then shifted the blame saying the person that I spoke with yesterday actually works at another branch so its not their fault ... Very poor management, you must take responsibility for your employees, why hire someone to represent your company who gives false information that costs the customer time and money?? With no apology to the customer just a shift of blame..seriously, the quality of your service has gone down since I started banking, obviously you must want me to take my business elsewhere.

Nearest bank to my home and never had any problems with the staff. Very helpful when i left my card in a cash machine and when i had money taken fraudulently from my account in a separate occasion. Sometimes there is a queue but someone always comes to ask if there is something they can help you with and the teller always says sorry for the wait. I usually check the website to see when the busiest times are. I do not drive so cannot comment on the parking.

The most unfriendly staff I ever met. Was so bad that I changed banks. The staff laughed because I got a panic attack and my carer had to help me. When I was leaving I was called a nut case. Learn to respect people. If possible I would give them minus stars.

Well, there we went in the hope of simply opening a savings account...Little did I know I was to be taken for a terrorist, along with my family (argh!)...Having said that, I should probably be thankful that the police didn't come after me and my family after we left the bank??! The reason? Perhaps the fact that we took a shopping bag containing a wee box inside it where we'd put our money...Which happened to be the money we told the first girl who was supposed to advise us (!!) we wanted to deposit into our new-to-be-bank-account?? As it turned out we couldn't even open it as the required, TRAINED staff to do it were absent... From this to the woman who afterwards asked us what we were doing (waiting in the queue??) maybe to get our money exchanged??...Or even to the woman in charge of money exchange (who had been warned about us(!!) by a colleague to whom, in turn, she readily and discreetly gave a sign, while whispering something that sounded like "If there's any problem I'll give you a shout!")....A complete joke!! Unbelievingly rude, offensive and incompetent CURRENT staff, the worst bank experience EVER!! It USED to be a good branch, indeed, with very good service (Past simple) ! At least by the time we first opened our bank accounts (with James) and some time afterwards we even got to know by sight almost everyone in the bank...We hadn't been there for some time, though, and got shocked when we couldn't recognise anyone (although unaware of what awaited us)...So I suppose that the staff DO make a branch a pleasant place to go to? Or un-make it? In conclusion, I believe we'll think thrice before risking another visit to this very branch...Or we might end up, who knows, behind bars??
