“I honestly couldn’t recommend them more! These days in Edinburgh most bike shops are busy and would rather charge you £30 for a new part than spend their time to fix yours for less. In all my years living in Edinburgh, none have felt so welcoming; like they honestly want to give you their time to help solve your problems and save you money.I came in here to ask for advice on my bike during the ‘fix your own bike hours’ and they gave me hours of their time and expertise to get my bike into the best shape it’s ever been. Replaced both my wheel bearings, setup my brakes, tried my wheels, and cached my gears for only £19 not to mention the value of the advice they gave me.This was a heartwarming experience and I think I’ll only recommend people go here to get their bike sorted from now on. Everyone else pales in comparison to their outstanding customer service! Thank you!”

“Wow, huge store with lots of equipment. But what is more important, great employees! The level of service, helpfulness and knowledge about the gear was blasting me away.Especially the store manager Pete helped me to solve a real problem I was facing. Other shops before just shrugged my question off and didn't try to solve my challenge. Pete went out with me to my motorhome, checked out the situation and found the right solution.Thank you Pete, your passion and drive is much appreciated!”

“Best galfords I have ever visited. Attention to details, great customer service and fine parts. Too bad I live si far away and the ones closer are nothing alike .”

“Standard mid size Halfords, therefore limited ranges. But they had equivalent of some items we were looking for, as well as the specific "must have" items. So we were happy with that.Setting it aside from other Halfords was the bearded guy at the back of the store on the parts desk. Wish I'd got his name. He was super helpful and knowledgeable. Also redirected other customers as he searched for the info we wanted, without impact to us. Made it look easy, kept smiling, saved us a whole lot of Google searching. Worth 5 stars just for him.”

“I hate shopping in these shops however, this branch was very tidy, bright and not oppressive with items above your head. One member of staff was a little surly particularly noticeable as they weren't busy but on the whole I was impressed with this branch and we got everything we went in for.”

“Popped in this morning to see if I someone could look at my brakes and wheel after a bad fall. The guys were friendly and helpful and fixed it all in less than 10 minutes!I also get my bike serviced here and I've always received great service from them - would gladly recommend.”

“They can be a little hard to find, but once you get hold one of the guys in the bike section they are very helpful and well informed. I think the folding bikes they make represent good value for money compared to many of the alternatives at the same quality point. The online chat and agents are not very helpful. It would be better to be able to speak directly with the store you're dealing with.”

“Everything was fine in the end got what I needed but had to change my order, when it came to pay the guy didn't have a clue what he was doing, I asked to pay by card and he rang it up and said that be £35 please, went to tap my card and he said NO ive rang it up now am needing cash for the sale, I only had £20 in my wallet, so asked take 20 cash and the other 15 stick it on my card please, with this he just looked at me like I was speaking a foreign language.. so after a minute I said mate do you want me to show you what to do?? Silent he said nothing so I then said, will I make your job easier and choose a similar item that's £20 mate, which I did, he then rang that item through so now his till is saying £55 he took my money and said hope there not a problem and you have to bring them back because I can only give you a credit note for the £20 not the £55 with that he opened his till and proceeds to give me £35 back for a item that I never bought in the end and to start with never even gave him any money to start with either.. told him to keep it, really think he thought I was giving him a tip for his service that morning, he may of been tired as the shop had just opened or was it the mad rush myself and 1 other customer walked in at the same time.. 100% il be back soon for a massive shop especially if he's o the tills again could get my shopping for nothing next time all my money back and get a recite just incase i do need to bring anything back.. that last bits a joke.. some staff training my be required...”
