A warm welcome always awaits us here to enjoy the most incredible homemade lunches. The Cullen skink and lentil soup are out of this world! Not to mention the fabulous scones, coffee and sweet treats. Thanks for making us at home either inside or out and giving us the daily dose of fresh air and chat we always look forward to.

Great wee place for a hot cup of coffee or lunch after a walk along the shore. I had a cream cheese and salmon bagel, and my husband had the Cullen skink. Both were great!

Had a lovely lunch here with my friend after our walk, we both had the lentil soup in huge bowl's and very tasty it was with their own freshly baked rolls, this was finished off with a big wedge of carrot cake with coffee.....The staff were very nice and attentive, will definitely be back.

This is a unique family-run gem of a place, with stunning views over the forth to Dalmeny Estate and the Kingdom of Fife. The menu offers high quality freshly cooked homemade offerings for brunch, lunch and post-walk coffee and cake. You have to taste the Cullen skink, which is out of this world! And the giant scones and incredible millionaires shortbread are to die for. My daughter enjoyed a Scottish smoked salmon bagel with cream cheese. Thanks for the warm welcome, the seat inside to avoid the rain and the incredible lunch. A must for locals and tourists alike!

Took my mum here for a birthday lunch. Disappointed that cullen skink was off the menu - we both fancied that as a starter.Lentil soup was very nice (as an alternative) as were the paninis we ordered. However there was a strange vibe to the place. It appeared that some potential customers were turned away from eating inside because they hadn't booked (there was at least one free table inside). Our service inside was good but not great. Nice location but overall we are unlikely to return.

Came across this bistro which is in a beautiful location. It was lunch time & we fancied sitting in since it was pouring rain. Unfortunately the door was locked & they were only serving takeaway from a hatch in the wall. There were 2 (pretty pricey) soup options advertised however we were surprised to be told they were both sold out! It was only about 1340 on a Sunday so we felt this was a bit strange as they?d obviously not prepared properly. We left feeling very disappointed. Won?t be back & would recommend taking a picnic if you?re visiting Cramond as this place appears to be the only option for food in the area.

Used to be a delight to visit for coffee and scones after a Saturday morning run ? no longer . Not allowed to sit inside unless booked the previous day , have to queue to give order , try and find an outside table , and then be summoned to collect your coffee from a hatch with the wooden window bar preventing sight of the server. No longer any friendly interaction. Not cheap coffee , especially for the lack of service.

It is no exaggeration to say this was the best coffee I have ever had. Smooth, rich and delicious. The bagels were perfect, someone has clearly put a lot of thoughts into the balance of flavours and quality ingredients. The carrot cake was great. The cosy little stone venue was just what we needed to shelter from the rain after a hike around cramond island. The prices aren't cheap but this is no high street corner cafe, it's fresh quality food with a great view in a prime location. We spent £20 each on two hot drinks each, a bagel with tortilla chips and salad, and a cake.

Having wandered around this quaint little village with its views across the water and lovely sights, we decided to stop at this place for a snack and coffee. There was inside and outside seating - not too many tables and a bench or two and you order at one window and collect from the second. It was busy when we arrived but we were served by a friendly young member of staff and we didn't have to wait too long at all for our purchases. Good coffee and tasty snacks.

Absolute rip off.Nearly £25 for a mediocre panini, bagel that wasn't even the one I ordered, which was also mediocre (perhaps the salmon one I actually ordered would have been better), a tiny ice cream and a few soft drinks.Guys this is cafe food at best, the service is is not great, this is FAR from a bistro. The poor review is due to expectations Vs reality. What we were charged Vs what was delivered was bad.

Great position. But very unhelpful staff. More outdoor seating is required. Only 3 small tables with 3 chairs at each, on a sunny morning during the school holidays. Visited with friends, 3 of us have mobility difficulties. I asked if we could have a few more chairs outside. I was told categorically no! I asked if I could move a few of the chairs from inside, where there were no customers inside at all, and it was a dry day. Again I was told categorically no. Seemed a strange way to treat customers. It seems to be run to suit the staff rather than the customer. Needless to say we will not be back . Such a shame as it's a great position.
