A wee charity shop full of vintage, antique and creative staff, love it ?

I carried a large heavy bag of items down to the store via bus. For some reason although it was around 4.35 the store said closed. I couldnt believe it. Then someone said there were people inside and I'd probably get in when they left. Website says 5.30 yet the staff seem to close early all the time which just seems pure laziness.Anyway I tried knocking with no answer. After waiting outside for 5 mins or so an old woman was near the door waiting to let people out. I tried to motion to her that I had a bag. She wanted to know the contents, was it clothes. I said it was various stuff. I took my black bag off the top id used to protect the contents from any rain. Then I explained that the remote control for the car was with it and I had tested it. She didnt respond to this but pointed out that they dont take folders. I said if you dont want it then just put it in the bin. There was no thanks at all, until I said - thats allright, its no bother. Then she said thanks. I mean I carried a heavy bag of stuff, clothes, toys, dvds etc all the way down there and the woman was all picky and ungrateful. Where I had to hint for some kind of appreciation. All I wanted to do was give a bag to their charity shop and the staff make it all difficult. I DEFINITELY WONT BE GIVING ANY MORE ITEMS TO THIS CHARITY SHOP. I'M DONE WITH THEM. They wont last long with that pompous attitude.

They don't accept donations as they please and when they do, you never see any of your donations in store. I have donated many exceptional items of clothing never to be seen. The staff are a bit pompous as well. There are many other charity shops in Stockbridge which are very grateful for donations.

Great selection and prices, inclusive and PRIDE supportive

The only charity shop in Stockbridge I refuse to enter because of the inappropriate behaviour of the female manager and her misgiven thoughts on dealing with customers. Apparently the manageress thinks she has the moral authority to make unfounded malicious rumours and gossip about her customers. The price of some of the goods in the window of the shop are retail prices and should not be offered to the public in such an unresearched manner as these items have been donated and are second hand.

High street and designer labels can be found in this lovely quirky charity shop and priced competitively, there's always a cheerful smile and hello from the staff.
