I have been visiting this shop for years, and they always have what I am looking for at a good price. Most recently, I have been able to get so much DIY and home-improvement done because of this shop's excellent selection. I have always found the staff to be friendly and very helpful. Happy to call this one of my favourite shops in Edinburgh, and easily one of the most useful. Thankyou.

Nice place very well situated across the road from the crematorium so they must get a bunch of trade from there for wakes nice atmosphere friendly staff good food the only down side was the accessibility for our freind I'm a wheelchair but I think the building is old and would probably cost so much to do it that it wouldn't be worth it but they got our mate in and out with a good bit of human power no blame no shame just how the cookie crumbles the main thing was he could get in with us

You can buy some souvenirs ,birthday cards and postcard here with reasonable prices ??And there is a bus stop in front of the shop,therefore,it?s quite convenient ?

A very friendly shop with useful and cost effective options. Thanking the shop owner who helped with finding my headpieces. She went beyond the expected and has been really helpful in picking something for me, despite having loads to do (she kept telling me there's a lot that the shop is handling and it has been difficult to run both the costume section and the main section). The Bathgate branch.Woman who I asked for help today was extremely rude and unhelpful,I was looking for something close to sml ramekins,and pots and pans and utensils,but there was only large glass bowls,that were expensive and nothing near what I was looking for,so I said it?s ok I?ve seen sml steel ones on Amazon,she told me go to Amazon then?,I was planning to buy cooking pans and many utensils,but after this,I went elsewhere and will never go near this shop ever again.

A super useful cavernous shop, selling pretty much everything you might need for a house and day to day life. Prices are reasonable (as opposed to "bargain"). It also has a fancy dress and party shop attached to it.

It's a fascinating store with everything for the household. It is difficult to find stuff and it seems to be stocked in quite a random fashion. Best for kitchen ware and storage items. Not great quality for electrical goods.

I really like this shop b'coz of all the variety of products available to purchase - the staff are friendly and will show you where an item is and if they don't stock your particular item they will try to get it.

Bought earphones from here and they broke after 6 days I took them back and the guy replaced them but wouldn't give me the Box or receipt, the new pair broke in 24 hrs, I went back they accused me of being a liar, I told them they could test them, I also said I'd oar mors for better ones but he just threw the refund at me and told me I'm barred, even though they are in the wrong and I could prove it, was even gonna buy a more expensive pair, but they are so rude especially the sons, dad is OK,the staff are rude don't make eye contact and one shelf stacker refers to the items as hers lol like u ask do u have dog toys, she replies, I've none just now but I should be getting a delivery, quite sad lol, 99%of the products are very bad quality and although seems like a bargain, it's really bad,everything is cheap and nasty and built to break and more and the customers service is some of the worst
