In a decrepit, crumbling Ocean Terminal, it was a delight finding a HMV, a brand I'd thought lost to time! Genuinely felt like a wee time capsule back to the days of physical media. Ultimately, the more streaming services come out, the more I think those investing in physical media will win, as shows disappear without a trace no matter how many subscriptions you have... and HMV has them! Huge selection of DVDs and Blurays, music in various formats, and more fun weird merch than you can shake a glowing, branded stick at. I can say quite honestly it may he the only thing to go to Ocean Terminal for anymore...

THE BEST HMV IN EDINBURGH, IS THE ONE IN OCEAN TERMINAL, I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT. ALLY AND THE OTHER STAFF ARE ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT. I AM A BIG JAMES BOND FAN AND A GUY CAME IN WITH A BIG BILLBOARD POSTER OF FROM RUSSIA WITH LOVE, AND IMMEDIATELY THOUGHT OF ME. THATS HOW BRILLIANT BOTH HE, AND THE REST OF THE GANG ARE. I WILL DEFINITELY BE A REGULAR CUSTOMER IN THERE IN THE NEW YEAR. OH, AND I HAVE ALWAYS COME AWAY WITH EXCELLENT BARGAINS TOO. In the mid 80s, I worked in HMV, it's not yhe same as that, as the price of vinyl has went thru the roof but as a music store, HMV in none to bad, you can get every thing here just at price.Varied selection.

Hi yeh love hmv its where I buy my tech always have preferred than buying online also where I pick up my new bluray 4k steelbooks for my collection always a great time coming here a d would give you a 5 star review time and time again I'll be back soon to pick up my flash steelbook and psycho Blu-ray collection next month ????
