Took my car in for a new tyre in December (and feb) after I got a flat. It was changed and all was fine (I thought). Last weekend I noticed the carcass was showing on the tyre which didn?t seem right to me. As I have a baby I panicked and booked my car in for a new tyre change the following day. Took my car along and explained I wasn?t happy at the fact my carcass is showing less than 3 months after I had it changed. Guy was rude and dismissive and told me it will be because of the car . 20 minutes later the guy came out and told me the shook observer was leaking and that?s why the carcass was showing? seemed odd but I took his word and left. I decided to take it to my local garage for a 2nd opinion and lo and behold no faults ? but the wheel alignment had no sign of use or movement . weird considering all tyres are required to have wheel alignments after fitting. It?s even shown on the receipt. After a phone call with the manager Lee (the good guy out of a bad bunch) I took it down to this garage and they said they would look. Received a phone call about an hour later to say ?there is no fault and we will give you a free £70 alignment.? Which is a joke in itself . After a argument they agreed to refund me for the tyre I had to buy to replace the one that was fitted without any alignments and a discount on another tyre that was so close to showing it?s carcass that was fitted in Feb. Not even as much of an apology and they took the opportunity of me being a young woman and lied to me to get me out the door , or to try and scam me of paying for a part or more tyres that never needed replacing. Lesson learned to always get a second opinion? and not go to kwik fit.

Drove in to book for 2 Michelin primacy 4 tyres and tracking. To my surprise all was done in an hour so and near to closing time. They didn't have to do it

I went in twice last week told on Friday I had a slow puncture to find on Saturday I had to fork out £400+ for four new tyres-

Went on Thursday afternoon to get a puncher repair done . I waited for about an hour to then be told I needed a whole new tyre as it was badly split in 2 places . To cut a long story short I knew it only needed the puncher done has it had just been checked and they told me there was no way they could damage a tyre I then told them it had been checked by a mechanic just before I brought it in and that?s how I knew it had a screw in it The tyre was fixable until they burst it. After going to there customer service and them collecting the evidence I got a refund .i will never use them again
