Scott was really professional and kind throughout the visit. Although we are left with an ongoing issue this is down to Samsungs terms and cons not Lothian Domestics. Scott gave us some great advice to move forward with and hopefully next time we are visited the error code presents itself!

Good selection of appointments. Got a text saying engineer Paul was on the way. Issue with drier, which I had neglected for months, was resolved in 30mins. Should have phoned these guys sooner. Issue was that drier kept displaying that water tray was full. Worth saying- When I had explained this to another appliance repair company( during the getting quote stage) they replied by email that it would be a new pump required!!!! However, Paul from Lothian domestics diagnosed immediately that it would be a build up of lint and no additional parts likely required/just labour cost. It was as he said. Dont bother with other companies , you can trust these guys.

Ripped off.Had a problem with my oven; when using fan with top and bottom elements, only the bottom element was working,so I called Lothian Domestics.After around 40 minutes the engineer could not find the fault so he called the senior engineer who said it was the selector at fault . Paid initial £49 then another £88 for new selector and remaining labour. Engineer came back and fitted new selector which did not fix the fault. He called the senior engineer again who said I need to replace the wiring harness. On top of the £137 I?ve already paid,A wiring harness for another £116 was not financially viable (the oven only cost £330 new).After the engineer left, I discovered none of the functions were working properly now!I called the office to explain the situation and ask if someone could come back out and take another look to see if it was the correct controller or if anything else had been overlooked- no chance, they stood firm and said the only way we can move forward is to replace the wiring harness.Thanks a million for leaving me with an unusable oven when it started with only one fault.I would strongly recommend not using this company!

Ross was really professional and friendly, identified the problem and gave good advice on the fix. The service was also easy to book online, gave a clear quote and sent a text of the time slot when the engineer was on the way. Would definitely use again and recommend.

Got in touch with Lothian Domestic about an issue with my cooker. Paul turned up within the booked time and fixed it.Very happy with the speed with which they attended. Paul made sure everything worked and stated the part has a 90day guarantee.Very happy.
