Located in the heart of Edinburgh, sometimes you just need to go where you know what to expect. After a day's walking round the city, in the winter cold; Nandos was just what the doctor ordered. The service was brilliant, food was tasty and served promptly. It was so good that I went again the next night!

The food was great, we received a warm welcome from staff. Staff is great there. But i would recommend not to go for garlic bread. But everything else was great.

Never quite had a Nando?s experience like it. Came in around 8:30pm with many seats empty and was told to wait with a bunch of other people with half the restaurant empty. Finally got seated after 10 minutes of waiting for what seamed like no reason. Not even understaffed. Then when we?d ordered they?d imprisoned all the sauces in clingfilm and removed the tops. Was so incredibly bizarre. Probably give it a miss if you can

Nandos is a great fast casual option if you enjoy rotisserie style chicken with a bit of spice. Even if you don?t, their menu runs the gamut of options with a ton of good apps and sides. This location is very busy being right across from the museum and while service was pretty fast, it wasn?t great and everyone seemed a bit confused who was working there. All that said, the food was still awesome and worth coming back for time and time again! There is free soda refills but it?s a bit confusing on if you can get it or your server does. Toilets are clean but down a long staircase.

I love Nando?s and have a lot of good experiences in it in Edinburgh, but not this one.The first time I ordered to go and the staff forgot my chips, which I didn?t notice until I went home. ( The staff even ?checked ? my order list while she was giving me the bag.)The second time I ordered with delivery, and they gave me the exactly wrong sauce. No more chance for this Nando?s, I will walk more to the other one that I can trust.

This must be the dirties Nando?s I have ever been to. The floors are absolutely disgusting. The vents in their kitchen are dripping with oil. The menus we were given were greasy. The toilets were awful. This place desperately needs a deep clean!

"At Nando's Middle Way in Edinburgh, the food offers a fair taste that caters to a variety of palates. While the flavors might not be overly bold, they are balanced and approachable, making it a good option for those seeking a comfortable and familiar dining experience. The menu's diversity ensures there's something for everyone, and the straightforward flavors can be quite satisfying. While it might not be a culinary adventure, Nando's Middle Way's emphasis on accessible flavors and a pleasant atmosphere still make it a worthwhile dining choice."

Came through for lunch here on a Saturday during The Fringe festivities. We were unable to make reservations due a spur of the moment choice, as it was convenient to eat there because it was right next to the National Museum (where my nephew wanted to visit oj the day).Although the place was huge, it was packed! The staff member who greeted us by the door was very polite and kindly forewarned us that due to lack of reservation, (and being a large party), they would probably seat us until after 15 minutes. It was an acceptable wait time for us, so we gladly sat and waited. However, 15 minutes very quickly turned in to an hour and (although we waited patiently and tried not to hound the staff) we would have appreciated any update of some sort over the course of that period, or the option to atleast have our orders taken while we waited.I understand that perhaps in the past, people have ordered in advance and decided to walk away at the last minute (hence they didn't want to do that with us) but with our obvious commitment to wait for an hour, surely that would have given them the hint that we were definitely staying.Another point to note is that hopefully, if the wait for the clients were expected to be that long in the future, it would be nicer to have an ample sized seating area for us to wait around in.Anyway, after the long wait, we were eventually ushered to our table on the upper level. Once we got our group situated, we headed down to order food. Our saving grace was that the manager was quite accommodating - especially since my nephew had dietary restrictions. Another plus was that we didn't feel that the wait for the food was longer than the wait to be seated. Furthermore, the food was amazing (as always) despite the business of the place. Glad to know that the quality and taste never gets compromised!Although the beginning of our family experience there was not that pleasant, it definitely ended well!Dietary restrictions: My nephew is allergic to eggs, nuts and dairy. Orders with dietary restrictions were handled with utmost care and was personally taken by the branch manager on duty. She was very hands on and accommodating!

Really good Nandos , friendly staff on arrival.Ordered via the app staff that brought the food asked if we wanted anything else.Food was tasty and cooked well.Restaurant was clean. Never been to a nandos where the sauces are left on your table, but saves you carrying them around.Toilets were clean also.No complaints at this nandos would visit again

The food was the usual that you expect from nandos, good quality, portions are slightly small, but there are always a few sides you can add. The food and drinks were brought to us very promptly. We ordered through the app, which we found very easy to use. It is particularly useful with large parties so no one single person has to remember everyones order when at the till. It is also useful if you have a handful of toddlers to keep an eye on, as ordering at the till can be difficult while also marshalling the small people. The service we got was outstanding. The staff were friendly, very attentive, and professional. Would definitely recommend, especially families with small children.Kid-friendliness: You pay when ordering food, which is good when toddlers are getting restless and you need to leave swiftly without having to wait half an hour for the staff to slowly bring the bill over.Wheelchair accessibility: There was a lift to both the next floor where we were seated and also to the basement where the toilets were located.
