“This is a great pharmacy for many reasons. Firstly the service level is excellent, the staff are all very friendly and cannot do enough to help. Secondly I get my repeat prescriptions from them and the service is brilliant, they make it easy and they deliver as well. The shop itself is one of the old style chemists, made of wood with those banks of apothecary drawers and shelves.They have a good range of items and if they do not have what you need they will usually be happy to start stocking it for you. Seriously if this is local to you use this pharmacy.”

“Best pharmacy for prescriptions in Edinburgh. I have used them for over 10 years and will never change. Always helpful, always friendly. They also give everybody the same service, some pharmacies don't like having to dispense to addicts like me but here they give extra care to those with difficulties, call them by name and listen to their side of things. “Boots at Ocean Terminal is a great place. With lovely helpful staff. They always have a great range of products at reasonable prices. I phone up for them to get my tablets from my Doctor. They are so helpful and quick to get the prescription. Within a few days I get a txt saying they’re ready. Great store and staff. 5/5 ?”

“Excellent, the pharmacist was brilliant, took the time to look at and advise on a lump on my elbow that I had just noticed and was very worried about, and couldn't get in to see a doctor about it all week. I had spoken to my local pharmacist, who completely freaked me out, enough to consider a&e. I sought a second opinion from the pharmacist at boots, and thank goodness I did. I was hugely let down by surgery but one of staff I spoke to was so helpful despite I did not buy here the item due to having to travel to different city tonight and item had to be ordered from supplier. “I went into the shop first thing after we arrived in Edinburgh and browsed the shop. The large canvas bag with leather trims and hand made belts caught my eye. After walking the streets for a few days I returned to the shop and purchased a belt. Lovely thick strap with heavy duty buckle. They said to hand punch the belt holes, trim and finish to fit would take 10 minutes. Very nice gentlemen working in the shop. If you enjoy hand made quality pieces it is definitely a place to shop. I will definitely be buying from them in the future.”

“I was looking to get my daughter’s prescription, an antibiotic, went to a Lloyds branch, they said they had 674 prescriptions in front of mine, what?? Most of them don’t know what they do there, but it’s management fault, not stafd. Then went to Boots, did not have item in stock, very chaotic atmosphere there, phoned Omnicare branch on Queensferry road, had the item, arrived and had the prescription done in maximum 10 min, amazing customer service and organized pharmacy. I think they invest in staff and appreciate staff, very well run pharmacy, if I would have had medication on prescription this would be my pharmacy of choice. Well done staff in there!”

I normally use the LLoyds branch up at East Craig’s as it’s slightly closer for me, but Ive had so many problems with Lloyds, so I will definitely be using Rowlands for all my pharmacy requirements going forward.”
