I got the asparagus and eggs and was very pleased with the generous portions and hearty, thick cut brown toast. Lovely spot with a pleasant atmosphere.

Coffee fan here, place is little, cute, smells of good coffee, options to eat as well. I didn?t enjoy the coffee too much. It has a sour taste and is a bit watery, but it is best than the standard coffee down the shop.

This is a pleasant cafe in the main student area of Edinburgh. Staff were friendly and helpful. Coffee was great. Food is available if you want to eat. Very clean and bright.

This is really a nice place to go for a quick meal, especially for me after classes. The scramble eggs are pretty good and I love their bread!!! Coffee is nice as well!!

This used to be a good place to have a decent and good quality cup of coffee but unfortunately it has gone down hill. The americano I had is pretty bad.

We went to this cafe at around 12.30 for lunch. We noticed food sitting at one of the best tables (for 4) in the window as we looked for somewhere to sit. We were a bit surprised to see someone who seemed to be a staff member settle down there for her lunch. We asked the staff member behind the counter whether we ordered at table or counter she said counter then just ignored us - even when we spoken to her - and proceeded the wipe the soup off the menu while me and my partner we're actually discussing the soup together. No eye contact from her, nothing. She then disappeared completely so we left. It turned out to be good for us as we ate at a really nice place down the road!
