Spotless, well equipped gym

Changed to this gym when my own closed, took a bit of getting used to but once I sussed out the quieter times to visit I settled in and enjoy my visits. I'm in the process of having programme made for me to help keep me motivated and it also fits around a few ailments I have. Staff are friendly, there's a good variety of machines. Steps going down to the gym from the street can be a bit steep but there's a lift which you need to ask for access to.

Hi team, the temperature of the shower room is too low and it's quite "windy", obviously colder than the changing area even inside the shower room, toilet and changing area are altogether. Caught a cold after having a shower there, it happened for several times and it's frustrating...Could you please raise the temperature and lower the wind speed for the shower room? It is a critical factor affecting whether I would still visit the gym centre. Thanks for your help in advance.

The subscription plans are bit pricy but the equipments are good enough

I recommend to everyone. A large selection of cardio and strength machines. Purely. Professional trainers and nice atmosphere.

Travelling through the whole of UK with a PureGym membership was the best option. Gyms and their atmosphere varied tremendously. This one was nearly empty on a Sunday. The equipment was varied and well laid put. Facilities clean. Staff friendly.

Went there during a 2-week vacation.They offer a 1, 3 or 7 day pass which will expire after the corresponding time. So you you plan to go to gym 2-3 times within 7 days but not in a row you might consider the 7 day pass. Overall the passes are a bit too expensive imo.Everything is uncomplicated. You get access via a personal code 24/7. There are plenty of lockers available (a lock is required but you can purchase one via vending machine).The gym itself is not massive but most important things are available.Definitely bring a jacket because AC might hit you hard.

It is a small gym, more focused on cardiovascular exercises than weight exercises. You always have to wait to be able to use the training benches or the multipower. but the management was very kind and they solved my shower problem on the first day of work. I can't say the same about The Gym company, which after 6 years treated me terribly, which is why I changed to the PureGym group. grateful to them.

A gym... Just that.Careful, don't leave any valuables in locker room as lock picking thiefs are on regular patrol there.

Great gym, clean, with professional, caring & knowledgeable staff, with great equipment! All around great gym! The management especially Ian Blake sets the tone of a very efficient,diligent & caring staff.

It's a lot more value for money than Nuffield. It could be a little bigger and they should have two water fountains not one. But I'm sticking with PureGym. Also Morgan Stewart has been a big help a personal trainer there. And honestly he didn't ask me to say that.

Hi Pure Gym team, I'm the gym club member and enjoy working out at your centre.One thing that bothers me is the shower at Edinburgh Exchange Crescent. The shower is barely warm especially the air con is on in the shower room. I caught a cold during shower last time I visited. It's not an one off issue as the shower temperature has been too low for some time.Could you please raise the temperature of shower for women's shower room? Looking forward to your response. Thanks.

Quite small, very hot, plenty of cardio equipment but a lack of weightlifting

Gym is a good size and suits my workout style. Facilities could be cleaner. Male staff need to remember that they are at work and not in a night club, they should stop the cocky attitude and have some professional manner about them. Other than that, it's a decent gym for the price.
