I went into this branch on 30/12/22 after an error with RBS sending my replacement card to the wrong address. I updated the correct address and was assured my new card would be issued within 2 working days. 13/01/23 and still nothing. I was waiting desperately for it to be posted before I had to leave for Capetown on 11th Jan but nothing . I had asked to pay for a courier service rather than the problematic Royal Mail but was assured that there was no need and that this service was not available. Archaic service and poor record keeping has resulted in a six month problem where I have no access to my bank account...... not happy.

Only one Teller was operational and she was so long with a client.Not good enough considering there was plenty of staff on duty.

No cash transactions in a Saturday. Told no bank does as Saturday not a banking day so I couldn?t withdraw the cash I needed. Went to BOS where I also have an account and withdrew cash with no problem.

shockingly bad, my card was blocked and then retained by an ATM... no idea whay, ive been on phone for 1 hour, 63 minutes on hold, i am 100% changing banks after this

Most horrendous experience just visiting this branch for what should have been a very straight forward visit, I wanted to pay cash into the machine, I do this regularly at other RBS branches no problem and it takes seconds. On entering I was greeted by a staff member at the door who enquired what I was looking to do, asked me if I needed assistance and asked me to let her know if I had any problems, excellent, thank you.I then put my card into the cash machine and before I had finished entering my PIN number another staff member appeared behind me asking if I have the app. I told her I did and turned back to the machine, she asked if I knew what I was doing, I told her I did and continued to select the options on the machine, she continued, she asked if I was aware of a new savings account, I told her I already have one that I don?t use and this is of no interest to me, she tried to continue selling the account quoting interest rates, we?ll that?s just lovely but I have no money to save at the moment, I am not interested! By now I had fed my notes into the machine and was praying that it didn?t have problems with any notes as this employee was going for the hard sell, the machine was counting. The employee went on, do you have a mortgage? Oh my goodness, I do have a mortgage but I?m not looking for a new one or a remortgage or anything else, I only need to pay in my cash, leave me alone! The machine finished and printed my receipt, the employee tried to continue on about the mortgage rates. Wow, for a task which required no staff involvement I left feeling ridiculously harassed.. I have always liked having RBS as my bank for 10+ years and have avoided temptation to switch but this type of nonsense pushes people away.

WORST BRANCH EVER!!! Staff not helpful! IF I COULD PUT NEGATIVE I WOULD! First attempt - Went there to verify my 9 years old daughter requirements but only took my signature and got a letter again that they need her signature but can?t go to the bank with her as she is in school, then it went all expired as it got only 28 days to deal with (I can?t go out a lot as I just have birth)Second time opening online and attempt then got a letter and went there with my daughter as it was on school break so made sure brought her and bring out requirements and make sure she signs it - when we arrived they only want her BRP even though I got her passport, birth certificate, proof of address from GP and such in my bag, they only want her BRP so I gave it, they verify it but they are more mainly interested to check on my account so it went to a card reader and she took ages to check it, (I don?t know why). Now I got a letter saying they need her passport, birth certificate etc! And it?s the 28th day today! Of course another trip money wasted, effort to go there, time to be there and back and forth! Plus the case I have to look after my new baby! Like really? Did they even trained or being orient to a new rule? I don?t know what is going on, it?s only a first saver I want to open! She have a lot of cash (£40) and pennies she want to save up and put in a bank of course they are happy that it is in their bank like she likes saving it? but these people making it delayed for her and she been waiting of her debit card for ages! But sadden when she get a letter cos they want more things! She?s 9 years old FFS!

Wait times aren't ideal. Many staff are mediocre. Rahat - one of the staff - is very friendly and good at her job, though. 3/5 only due to her. 1.5-2 otherwise.

I found the service rude here. I came to open a bank account and I was told that no one was available because they were out at lunch. It was 12pm! The bank only opened 2 hours ago! How could someone be out at lunch after only 2 hours of working?! This was my third time coming to this branch. The previous time they told me my ID was invalid which was incorrect! That wasted about 2 hours of my day today and 2 hours earlier in this week. That's 4 hours I won't ever get back.

Cash machines for paying in rarely work. I tried then on ten separate attempts when they were first installed. On seven they would not take all the cash, and I had to join the queue for manual paying in, on two they ate my card and someone had to be called to retrieve it and on only one occasion did it work.
