Our local supermarket is conveniently located just off the cycle path and has some covered bike parking. However, it's often full. Most items seem to be available most of the time. Prices and quality are OK. We find a trip to Lidl around the corner where the produce is generally fresher, the bakery superior and the prices lower is more pleasant and less crowded. However, Tesco has a wider choice and availability.

I also lost something in store, however you cannot get through on the phone to anyone, really poor customer service, they even have an option on the phone for lost property but if you select that options you get an automated response saying you can’t connect to that number.

I am not sure who runs this store, but it must be a very unprofessional person.Whenever you come there are always empty shelves, no fruits, berries, veggies. If you one in the morning- they haven?t displayed it yet, in the afternoon- already gone, in the evening- cant be bothered to restock food. It?s near to impossible to but fresh bred , not sure why people can?t reduce price on expiring today price so it can be sold, No they prefer to bin it instead! Granny smiths apples loose seems gone forever. Poor assortment, can?t be bothered attitude. Please go elsewhere!

I am disappointed I can not get in touch with the store on an urgent personal matter.I shopped there on the 25th or 26th and think I dropped my Credit Card there I?m now up in Linlithgow and unable to personally re-visit the store. I am desperate to locate the card or 2 cards. How can I get any help in this matter. +61416138381H Murphy.

Used to like this store but in the last year it has really declined. Not a day goes by without them having closed checkouts. Usually at least half of checkouts are closed and there are queues. I don?t know if they close them on purpose or if even in a year?s time they can?t fix them, but it?s so bad.

I love Tesco products, range, and prices. However, Broughton Road embarked upon a 12 week period of major construction which has significantly impacted me as a resident who overlooks the site. I have been disturbed by noise from 8-6 every weekday, when I am working at home. With my windows closed, headphones I can still easily hear the various noise of drilling, hosing, etc, and it has often reached 60 decibels.I approached Tesco and a lovely colleague called Mandeep addressed my questions and replied to my email. Unfortunately, Tesco have been unable to provide any meaningful detail on the plans such as the timeline or periods of expected disruption for impacted groups.I have been unable to find any information, such as published notices on-site or online which explain the planning proposals underway. With Lidl a stone?s throw away and Waitrose in Stockbridge, it is very tempting to shift my shopping habits and not return. My bank app suggests I have spent £3k with you as it is my main shop. Please improve your comms to impacted groups when embarking upon major work. I have been a happy customer for many years but I am feeling really frustrated towards the tesco brand due to an ongoing lack of engagement from anybody in your organisation. Thank you.

My recent visit to Tesco Superstore in Edinburgh was an average experience that left me with mixed feelings. While the store had its merits, it didn't quite meet my expectations and fell short in a few areas.First and foremost, the store's size and layout were commendable. It offered a spacious shopping environment, making it easy to navigate the aisles and find the products I needed. The organization of the store was fairly logical, with clear signage and well-arranged sections for different product categories. On the positive side, the range of products available was satisfactory, providing a decent selection for everyday grocery needs. The fresh produce section offered a variety of fruits, vegetables, and other perishables, although I felt that the quality could have been better. The bakery section had a good assortment of bread and pastries, and the household essentials aisle was well-stocked.However, I found that the overall customer service was lacking during my visit. The staff members seemed busy and preoccupied, making it difficult to find someone for assistance or to answer questions. This lack of engagement and helpfulness created a somewhat impersonal atmosphere, leaving me feeling a bit neglected as a customer.Furthermore, I was disappointed by the checkout experience. The queues were long and slow-moving, resulting in a longer wait than I anticipated. Although there were several checkouts open, it felt understaffed for the number of customers present at the time. Improvements in this area would greatly enhance the overall shopping experience.Parking at the Tesco Superstore was ample and convenient, with a sizable parking lot available for customers. This was a positive aspect that made it easy to access the store without the hassle of finding parking space elsewhere. While my visit to Tesco Superstore in Edinburgh was overall average, it didn't leave a lasting impression. It had the essentials for a supermarket shopping trip, but the lackluster customer service and slow checkout experience were noticeable drawbacks. If you're in the area and looking for a convenient grocery store, Tesco Superstore can meet your basic needs, but it may not offer the exceptional shopping experience you might expect.
