The new self checkouts are terrible. They're very cramped and unintuitive. There's a lot less room for items to sit before scanning, and a lot less bagging room as well, makes it feel rather cumbersome when bringing my own bag. The loss of the bottom scanner shelf makes it much more difficult and uncomfortable when scanning items, it feels much less natural hovering my items in the air in front of the machine until it decides it's good enough to scan. 0/10 on these checkouts I'm afraid, just going to queue up next time.

The self service tills are absolutely disgusting and need a serious wipe down. This should be moderated by staff at least every hour. I understand its a busy shop but every time I am in here, self service tills are marked with all kinds of substances. Take some pride in yourself Tesco.
