It was really easy to book an appointment. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The store was well laid out and clean. Eilidh the optician was very professional and thorough. Calvin was also very efficient undertaking the tests. The process of ordering my contact lenses and setting up the direct debit was very straightforward. My lenses were delivered to my house within 48 hours. Overall an excellent service, thank you.

Attempting to procure my first pair of glasses ever. Eye testing is something that is very foreign to me. The three staff who helped me today were all very patient and helpful. They told me everything they were doing during the testing and why, and explained my prescription and why certain types of lenses were recommended. It was information overload and I was super indecisive over frames so I need to go back once all the info has sunk in and I have decided what I should do, but I know I can go back and they will be just as helpful as they were today.

The worst opticians I have ever visited.I had my contact lenses health check last week by a very professional optician. I was told my prescription had changed and she would order new lenses for me to test.I visited the shop today to enquire if they had arrived. I was met by an obviously bored male shop assistant who told me my lenses hadn't arrived, without even asking my details. He clearly couldn't be bothered looking for them. Standing in front of me with his hands in his pockets. He showed absolutely no interest in my needs or customer service.

never answer the phone why have one? cant get my glass right . since january . can see better without my variofocals than with this third attempt ... yawn .

Brilliant service from start to finish. Listened exactly to what I wanted and did everything possible to make it happen.I'd definitely recommend this particular store and in my experience found it to be way ahead of their night Street levels in terms of customer care.

As always a completely thorough checkup, with all the necessary tests & photos etc. I think that all the staff at Kinnaird Park premises are very helpful & pleasant. They have always picked up any problems I've had & referred me to the Eye Pavilion for further help & operations. The only downside to Vision Express is the boring selection of frames! I like very colourful & unusual ones, so have had to purchase online unfortunately.

I did not get what I wanted. I realised that my eyesight with contacts has gotten worse so I went to get new contacts of the correct power. The optician did not listen to what I wanted at all. I never wear glasses when going out and rarely use them cause i hate wearing them. I've been using contacts for more than an year. The optician insisted that I desperately needed new glasses because my vision has got so bad and now I'm stuck with an expensive pair of glasses that I won't wear. Thinking of returning them. Apparently you can't buy contacts with your eyeglass prescription so I'm planning on booking a contact lens appointment at another store where the oh so optician will actually listen to what I want and not what he wants. I went to get contacts and ended up with an unwanted pair of glasses!

My name is Tomasz Szymanski, I am a customer of Vision Express:I received text message that my new glasses are ready to collect, it was almost a week ago, on Thursday 29Sep.My first trying to get my glasses was on last Sunday and today on Wednesday 05 Oct.I came in a midday, both days, but the shop was closed. Nobody inside, no any information on the front door why it is closed. At the same time on the front of the shop you can find info that opening hours are 09-17.30 on 7 days , Monday to Sunday. Also online there is information that shop is open, but in reality is definitely closed(!)Calling on shop tel number , nobody pick up, but you can hear : ?your call is important for us, please wait, one of our advisors will be with you shortly ?.It?s ridiculous, unprofessional and unpleasant. I wasted my time and I still don?t have my glasses.This situation happened at Vision Express shop in Edinburgh, Fort Kinnaird.I need my glasses and I have no time to waste by coming to the closed shop.

Had an eye emergency and had to be checked quickly as I was flying out that afternoon. I phoned up and the optician squeezed me in. Excellent service. I was very impressed.!!

2nd time I have visited Vision Express and have been impressed by the staffs? knowledge of their subject and willingness to help. Have order my prescription sunglasses and will be looking to get my monthly lens as well.

Emma is a real asset to Vision express, incredibly thorough assessment made. My eye pressure was incredibly high and it was mid afternoon, yet she still managed to secure an appointment at the hospital in town for that day?
