The staff were amazing. Kept me informed throughout the whole process. Delighted with my car purchase. James McN is professional, knowledgable and helpful.

Unfortunately my experience was not good this time.Work that should be carried out under warranty, previously notified to Arnold Clark (not wear related) was not dealt with. A follow up call confirmed that any work will not be covered by the warranty. The solutions suggested are not satisfactory, so the faults still remain unresolved. Add a long trip to service the car at an authorised dealer, and you will understand my disappointment.

Scam artists....Now don't be sending any messages back saying a general manager will discuss your problem at the showroom you are all in on it together. Don't waste your time replying back to me.

Bought a car here recently. The salesman James McNairn couldn't have been more helpful. The day I collected my car was actually his day off but he still came in to make sure things went OK. Dedication indeed especially in these days. Top class service from start to finish.

Had nothing but issues with the service at south street, hours on end for 4 days being passed about. Car was taken here and Graham the service manager set it straight in 10 minutes. Look for the garage that helps even after you've bought the car.

I would like to thank Ian Paterson for making buying my car so very easy. I am delighted with my purchase. I would also like to thank the young lady who braved the rain to show me the controls and the very kind lady that made me a most welcome coffee. Arnold Clark you have great staff.Kind regardsNeil Callaghan

Booked my car into Vauxhall in Linwood, Paisley, for a service and MOT on Tuesday. Was told when doing so. I'd get a video sent to me, showing what was done. Was never sent it. Got a vague phone call after half five on the first day, when my current MOT still had 3 days left, saying they thought a shock absorber needed replaced. Couldn't give me a quote, informed me I couldn't come and pick up my car. But apparently them calling me after the last collection time, wasn't their fault. At six o'clock I got a list of work emailed to me that included the shock absorber and other things I paid for, that were listed as 'leaks'. Which I paid. Still haven't been told what said leaks were. Called them on day two, after they failed too, even though they promised to call me first thing. They informed me that they were waiting on the part. The part that was listed as in stock when the list of work was sent to me, that it would be ready by five thirty, they'd call me in a couple of hours to confirm. I called them back at five o'clock, as they hadn't bothered themselves, yet again. To be told it would need a couple of final checks and the staff had left. And though it was still MOT'd, I couldn't pick it up again, as it was up on a ramp. That it would be ready by 8am on day three, they'd call me first thing. At 10am, having not heard anything from them, I called back. I was informed they had found a minor issue, not MOT related, and were going to call me that afternoon with a quote and when my car would be available the next day. I told them to get knotted. How long until it's ready without said work? They told me twenty minutes. I picked up my car an hour later. Got a call half an hour after that, telling me they hadn't put it through the MOT and that I still owed them £400, the money I paid on day one. I've booked it into another garage to be inspected. And contacting my bank to contest the payment. Absolute farce. Oh, yeah. They called me half an hour after all of that to tell me my car was ready for collection. No, it was already sitting in another garage.

Thank you to the help from John W helping me find a new car. I had went to other car show rooms but John was the only person to approach me in a friendly, non pushy manor. I was very anxious about looking for a new car and even the thought of a test drive but John and Hannah put me at ease and showed me everything I needed to know on the Car model and the spec inside. The customer service afterwards has also been superb. I would highly recommend Vauxhall to anyone looking to trade in their car for a new one.

So very disappointed with this Linwood branch. Have dealt with local Ayrshire branch before and found them friendly , happy to listen and knowledgeable. Linwood staff the total opposite! After advising of issues with my vehicle over last couple of months, EML and emissions lights appearing, which have been investigated under warranty at another Vauxhall garage closer to home, Arnold Clark Linwood advised I had to pay £138 for the diagnostics. When I asked why I was advisedI could try claiming it back from Vauxhall! My local Vauxhall dealership did not charge as they said it was covered by the warranty.Although advising when I booked vehicle in, and then when dropping it off, that this was a reoccurring problem it was just the case of running another diagnostic and no further investigation carried out. I was told by a male member of staff on collecting my vehicle, ?if it happens again take it where you like !?Four days later on route to a meeting the warning lights came on again and the countdown for engine shutdown started. Luckily got home with counter at 400 miles displayed.I have raised a case with Vauxhall Customer Care for further investigations and my vehicle is checked in at my local Vauxhall dealership.Arnold Clark Linwood made me feel unwelcome and spoke down to me as a customer wasting their time .I would not expect this standard from an Arnold Clark branded establishment and certainly won?t be returning to Linwood .

From walking in the forecourt to driving away with our car the attention to our needs was very professional and not "pushy". Michael was very helpful every step of the way. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to buy a car.

Already knew issue with my car prior to calling for price to fix. Got hit with really bad attitude from girl at service desk, who spoke down to me and over me. Then when finally did get prices, they were stupidly inflated! Nearly £140 just to look at it ( which they said wouldn't come off repair cost, and then over £400 to fix!Was not prepared to pay such exuberant costs, so checked online and got the needed part for £9.99, and it took no more than 30 mins to fix. NOT the minimum of 2 hours they claimed it would take!Word of advice, Google symptoms, check forums and YouTube to see if it can be done by the lay person. If not, and it has to go to a garage, DO NOT use Arnold Clark!

I just bought a car end of Jan 23. First few days of having car the DPF warning light came on after following instructions in manual, light still on contacted Service Dept made an appointment for car to go in, as I asked for courtesy car the next appoint available was 5 weeks away 6 March. Second week I had the car a second warning light went on , so on dash it was 2 warning lights and spanner. I contacted Service Dept to say and was told it would be ok to use it despite what manual said ,told they will check when its in for my appointment in March. Service Dept Kept my car in for four days, collected it on the 5th day. Waited nearly an hour and half till I could drive away due to catalogue of mishaps and errors. Second day out the garage warning light is back on . Contacted Service Dept who gave me another appointment on 27th March, again with courtesy car. In this instance the date could have been a week earlier but due to my work commitments and i don't live locally as I need to get a ferry I couldn't make it sooner.

My car was recalled for a safety issue and this branch refused to accept it because I hadn't had my car serviced in the last 9000 miles. The issue is with the brakes so they have sent me home with a car that potentially might suffer brake failure. Shocking service.
