Excellent service we went tonight and couldn’t fault the meal the steak was cooked to perfection we came up from Kent yesterday and go frequently in Ashford but this was exceptional wonderful staff well done

Breakfast is really very decent, staff are great but the main menu is over priced. It's not much different to a brewers fayre in quality yet priced higher. Not great value for an evening meal.

This is good value for money for breakfast, kids eat free and best of all they cook your breakfast to order. How many buffet breakfasts are ruined because they're sitting under heat lamps congealing away. The croissant and one of my faves in the continental and of course you can't beat a good fry up and this is a good one. You just have to state the quantity that you want and it's cooked and served to you. My daughter is very partial to their porridge, a proper good Scottish start to the day.

Right by the Forth/Clyde canal, there is outside seating area and a Premier Inn lodge. Inside, the restaurant is well laid out with an extensive menu. Huge variety of drinks both alcoholic and non. Children menus available and often has meal offers.

Good food helpful staff. However we ate for three consecutive days and the floor was never cleaned. There was bits of food everywhere it was very unhygienic.

I stayed overnight on business at the adjoining Premier Inn and ate here for evening meal and breakfast. Both meals were faultless with great service and super attentive Staff. See you soon, thank you

was staying in the premier Inn nearby and service was spectacular, the atmosphere was kind, holistic and warm in the morning as I ate my complementary breakfast and the breakfast smoothie was to die for! would definitely eat here again!

Had lunch here today and it wasn't a great experience. My husband had the mixed grill which came with a salad to conceal two sausages which had been burnt to a crisp! It's bad enough cremating food but to serve it to paying customers? Better to have given the sausages a proper Viking funeral; put them in a gravy boat and set them free on the canal.
We won't be going back.

We have been here a few times and it's a bit or a miss, today was a miss.
Sat on the decking area as we had our dog with us, the outdoor furniture is in a terrible state & very uncomfortable. The table we sat at had coffee cups & glasses on it as did other tables. It was not cleared in all the time we were there despite a member of staff coming out to a table then walking back in without even looking at the dirty tables.
In the lady's toilet a cubicle is out of order however there is no sign on the door saying so.
My partner went in to get some drinks and a member of staff was serving someone else, fair enough, when she finished she started fiddling with receipts then walked away leaving him standing, another member of staff then came behind the bar and served him.
In my opinion this place needs a good firm manager to take control.

Absolutely disgusting. Lasagne seemed "cheap" shop-bought. No flavour, dry, burnt - I'm pretty sure cardboard would have tasted better. The garlic bread was burnt to a crisp too. Informed the staff, they just shrugged their shoulders and made a hasty retreat. The last two meals we've had there have been awful!!! There were only three lots of people there when we went - if a restaurant is busy, the food is good - if it's empty.... Definitely will not be going back.

The food is really nice. I had an evening meal and the breakfast. Really nice breakfast!!. The staff in the restaurant are really friendly and attentive. I would definitely recommend and would go there again. It's also really handy if your staying at the premier Inn,as they are on each others doorstep . Falkirk also is a very nice place.

Worst steak I ever ate!!! First shock we got when the waitress said they had run out of the fillet mignon, they had only sirlion. Well, as we were so hungry we ordered what we could, on the menu we found only 3 types of steak, not more. On Sunday, in a steak house, which has been operating since 74'....so we ordered a sirlion medium style, finally we got a "meat" burned to coal. Seriously, we could have draw a picture with that....On top the service was very slow and poor, they forgot what we ordered etc. Won't be back and definitely would not recommend!!!
