I visited the falkirk store in July and advised the female sales assistant that the most important thing for me was to retain the price of my sim only plan at the same level of £15.I bought an expensive new phone and paying half, arranged to pay the other 50% to Vodafone, monthly, over 3 years.I was given a new plan of £30 with a 50% discount for 6 months. I was a bit nervous about this as I had wanted to keep my current plan of £15 per month. I was reassured by the sales assistant that I could come in during Nov/Dec and there would be promotions. When I asked more about this she told me "not to worry and that it would all be fine". Unfortunately I trusted her.I went back in to the store in mid December to find out about the promotions that would mean I could stay at £15 instead of increasing to £30 in January. I was advised by a male sales assistant that there weren't any suitable ones and the ones there were were linked to handsets. A new handset is clearly something I wouldn't be interested in, having just purchased a brand new phone in July.Had I known my payment would double I would not have gone ahead with the original transaction in July. The male sales assistant then consulted the female assistant who had served me and had just at that point returned to the shop floor. She said all other customers had understood and that I had obviously misunderstood. How can you misunderstand ''don't worry about it, it will be fine". Well it isn't fine.On leaving the shop I called Vodafone to ask about any deals and there weren't any. The customer service advisor was excellent but there was nothing he could do.I have now sent Vodafone an email of complaint, as I really feel I was mislead, but I have not received a reply.Needless to say when my contact ends with Vodafone I will be switching provider having been a customer for over 20 years.

Terrible attitude towards customers

Shocking service. Was here for an upgrade a few years ago and spoke to a lovely Asian man who sorted things out fast. Now dealing with a terrible English man who hastily tried to lie to sell me my upgrade was just disgusting. Why is he employed here. Have reported Vodafone Falkirk to ofcom.

Shocking, only allowing one person in the store at a time because of Covid, despite the store having enough room for social distancing for 3-4 people. Was there to trade in my old phone for a trade in discount, I was under the impression that I was only there to drop it off. As Vodafone had already sent me packaging for it. Was told by the manager Gordon that I would be able to do this, so I proceeded to wait another 15 minutes outside. When I got in Richard then told me I wouldn?t be able to to do this, he and Gordon debated amongst themselves about this. Before telling me I?d need to post it myself. They then directed me to a post office that was closed.

If you plan on visiting this shop please ensure you have nothing else to do or are short for time as they seem to be very understaffed and takes quite a while to be seen especially if it's busy. Went in there to pick up a sim card took 50 minutes so yes it's a good shop but turn around times could be improved dramatically

The service was very informative and helpful. The member of staff did a great job with the mobile phone account.
