Would give 0 stars if there was one ! Bought a click and collect traveling a long way to get my item at prestwick on collecting the curtain bag was ripped I asked the nice guy at store to write in the receipt that it was ripped as wasn?t sure they?d be suitable? anyway not suitable! I tried !!! To return them to argos at breahead met with a scowl faced blonde woman in her 30s-40s I just knew straight away I was going to have a problem returning these she looked both up and down (one wasn?t even opened) then me up and down and said ? I?m not returning these ! These have been opened!! I explained and showed her the note and the receipt told her to call prestwick and ask for the guy that said I?d have no problem returning! NO she said I can?t sell these again !! I said well call and ask please she said no again if I was you I?d take them back to where you bought them for a refund ! I took them away back and they were shocked that blondie wouldn?t refund me and told me to phone and complain! I did call and was told they?d contact the store and forward the complaint about this scowling creature !! Not good customer service honey maybe you should take the stick out your posterior and get a better job that suits !! Maybe satan has an opening at hell or something more suitable to your face !

Penny was amazing - no hassle return on a faulty hot cup machine and sorted us with a temp kettle until a new hot cup is available - first class service

Store appearance is very good and great variety and quality of clothes
As the changing rooms are no longer in operation across all stores i had to purchase about 6 items to see if any if them were suitable. When returning all but one at customer service the day after purchase, i had my receipt and was very polite but the woman at customer service seemed very dour faced as if i was inconveniencing her no thank you or politeness ?. Felt i was being treated with contempt for returning my goods promptly with a receipt.. not great for a ?customer service? worker
The lady at the self scanners was nice on the day of my purchase
Lovely store but some of the staff could provide a better customer service

Breahead store on a Saturday, very few staff serving, long lines and barriers to prevent you leaving . Outrageous, we will not be back.

Recently this joke of a store has become even more anti customer ,with cheeky abusive staff having to now open gates to let people out there self checkout till areas...the place is like a prison with barriers to get in and out and if you complain to that manager stewart or any other staff you get cheek and told to shop elsewhere a horrible unfriendly store and i for one will now avoid and stick with Tesco.

I was delighted to receive my new Airpods for Christmas. Within the first week of using them, there was cracking and volume problems. I first contacted Apple's Live Chat to gain their expertise. After an hour with no success, Apple advised me to book an appointment in their Braehead store. This was not a good experience. The diagnostic showed no fault and after a further hour speaking to staff and finally the manager, I was told to return to Argos. I was met by Sharon, a very friendly and helpful member of staff who within 5 minutes had taken my information and organised a replacement pair. Argos is not a shop I visit very often however I was delighted that their customer service was exceptional. I cannot say the same for Apple Braehead, where I was left feeling patronised. I am glad that these Airpods were purchased from Argos and not directly from Apple. Had they been bought from Apple, I am certain I would still be left with a faulty product.

Argos itself is fine - a fairly good process for click and collect. The staff, however, have very poor attitudes with 0 customer service skills. This is something that I have come to expect in general from Argos (but in particular from this branch). It is almost as if it is a chore to ask them to collect your item from behind the counter. Very strange to work in retail yet have the attitude of not wanting to help customers - some of which may be older and less familiar with the purchasing process. Its a shame as the Sainsburys as a whole is really good store with nice, helpful staff.Argos are letting the side down badly here.

Great staff and great service. Staff are put under a lot of pressure and I do not think they get paid enough for what they are made to deal with. I've never had an issue shopping here. I read the website properly therefore stock is always available in store when I go. Staff are friendly and helpful at this branch.

I loved it better when Argos were in Breahead shopping, was less hassle, though glad they are not far away.

I always thought Argos would be honourable with warranties (I've never had to return anything before) but after my recent experience (and looking further into their terms and conditions) it would seem that this is not necessarily the case and after 6 months, as the manager confirmed with me, the onus is on the customer to prove that the product is faulty. Consider how difficult that could be with certain products.Furthermore, with some products such as the Xbox Controller they seemingly can't even process a return without an authorisation code from Microsoft, which contravenes the Consumer Rights Act 2015 as your contract is with the retailer and not the manufacturer. So now I have a choice: spend countless hours calling Microsoft, whereby judging from other people's experiences which I've read online for this common design fault problem, I will no doubt be told where to go, or I can be grateful that I've found out about Argos and their terrible returns policy and customer service with a £50 item rather than something considerably more expensive (such as a television) and never shop there again.I think I'll choose the latter and spend ten minutes following one of the numerous YouTube videos on how to fix this myself and in future I'll shop somewhere with better post sales services such as ASDA, John Lewis - or save some money and source my stuff online.
