Countrywide completed a valuation of my parents house. Professional, polite and informative.Clearly laid out all options to myself about selling the house. Would recommend that if you are selling to get a valuation and then take from there.

Nightmare company made me loss 650 in fees because they to lazy to reply properly and timely manner I had made an offer they told they could accept it if I get an offer for my property so I went and accepted an offer then they told me to tell my lawyers to make an offer so i did that I try to call them more than 10times every time we we?ll get someone to call you back and in last minute they told me ohh your offer is not accepted because we have another which the seller accepted what shame if you had other offers you could have informed me of this yet nothing blaming my solicitors and making excuses stay away from them if you want peace of mind horrible behaviour by this branch. Awful! Saw a flat I absolutely loved and the only thing making me hesitant about making an offer was that I?d have to deal with Countrywide Shawlands. My experience with them on this one flat was a shambles start to finish.- The agent showing me round the flat just stood on the landing with a clipboard and had no answers to any of my questions, telling me to just check the home report or phone the girls at the office. The reason I was asking the questions is because the answers weren?t in the home report. Not really sure why he was there to be honest, apart from to open the front door as he didn?t point out any of the positive features of the flat or try to sell me it at all.- I had queried whether I would have use of the car park which he stated I would. I later noticed in the home report I wouldn?t have access. Before making my offer I phoned the office to double check and was told I could use the car park, and was then later phoned back and told I couldn?t?- At the viewing there was furniture sitting on the landing and I had asked the agent showing me the flat and also the agent I spoke to in the office whether that belonged to the seller and if it would be removed, to which both responded ?It should be removed yeah, I think so?. Not very reassuring. It wasn?t until I mentioned that I wouldn?t want to have an offer accepted to find out there would be a neighbours furniture blocking my door that the office agent offered to phone the seller and find out for me.- Deciding I would be silly to miss out on a lovely flat due to some incapable sales agents I made an offer. Yet on the day of closing I received a phone call from the office asking whether I would like to make an offer. I explained I already had and she apologised explaining she was just back her holidays and she hadn?t opened my file yet when she?d phoned. Surely this is basic common sense, to check the file of the person before phoning them?I dealt with three separate sales agents from Countrywide Shawlands and all of them were as useless as each other. I?d recommend some serious training in basic sales and common sense. If you?re thinking of selling your home I would go with someone else because I really think they are hindering your chance of a good sale.

Absolutely 5 star service from Countrywide staff at Shawlands branch. They (Chanice, Aimee, Stephanie and Katie) were very patient during this time and always accommodative to support during sale. My special thanks to Graeme and Lisa for overseeing the process, would highly recommend Countrywide for any sale/let , hopeful to receive their services in future

The team at Countrywide worked swiftly to make the sale of our property move as smooth as possible. They kept us up to date and informed of any developments. All the staff are highly approachable and friendly and show a genuine interest in the progress of the viewings etc. They put a lot of effort into their clients interests and are happy to address any queries. The Counteywide team have delivered massively for me, with my first sale falling through, Chanice Ray managed another sale within a difficult market. She has been outstanding, putting the customer first everyday and a very friendly and approachable hardworking girl. It has made a stressful time much more enjoyable. Excellent team with loads of experience and great support.We reserved a new build property and was under pressure selling our existing flat in Shawlands. But Countrywide team helped us really well with the entire process.The process started with Graeme McInnes helping us with the initial market research on pricing and comparable homes in the area. He helped us determine the best price for our home. Then the valuation was done and pictures were taken.Before placing the property in market, Stephanie Woods , the sales consultant requested us to review the ad content, pictures and video. This was really good as we were being informed and involved in the entire process.The best thing about countrywide is the existing client's database they have. Once the property is live in the market, the entire sales team Chanice Ray, Stephanie Woods, Lisa Carline and Aimee MacPhail helped us really quick with viewing appointments. Specially Stephanie helped us analyse the market and chose the best offer. We sold our property now and really happy with the price we got.Thanks once again for the entire team , definitely recommended.

Couldn?t recommend Graeme, Stephanie, Aimee and Chanice more. We recently listed three properties online which was incredibly daunting/stressful and Stephanie made the process incredibly streamlined along with having such a friendly and personable manner. Three great offers achieved and negotiated within a week, one of which being within two business days of property going live.Everyone we spoke with seemed a credit to the branch and our viewers all said they had excellent communication at their end.
