The arcade is a brilliant place if you want to buy a unique gift for friends or family, we visited today and met Michelle of Black cat, which is a store that sells alternative items. The store and Michelle were both lovely and I'd recommend everyone visit the arcade and her store. 10/10 ?

I worked there for 16 years at Glasgow's one time best record shop "Lost in Music". Its now a shadow of its former self in the 1990's.On a quick visit today to show a friend where i spent so many good years, there was not another single customer in the arcade and half the units were closed. It strikes me as sad that modern day change usually means we get less than we had before? It is a listed building of historic value as it was formally, a long time ago, a stables block belonging to the GPO. It is in good repair but lacks its former atmosphere when it had far more interesting businesses to visit.?

Lovely place with a great vintage shop/cafe (with great crockery for sale and yummy cakes) and lovely jewellery/fashion shops. Will definitely be back.

We popped into a few shops. I enjoyed it. There was much more there and we had time to see but if you are nearby, definitely stop by. The restaurants looked cozy and shop owners are very friendly l.

Lovely boutiques and gift shops plus BEST COFFEE SHOP IN GLASGOW, hidden away on 1sts floor and at the back of the arcade. The Cup and Saucer Vintage Tea Room doesn't need passers-by. It has its service some of whom are Celebs; we're not talking Big Brother type celebs that no one has the ever seen before... We're talking very well known and highly respected. The Tea Room is 50s retro in style.Relaxed comfortable retro with friendly service from the owner who makes all food and cakes sold in the shop...DELICIOUS!!This place is not so well known or obvious in its location as umpteen near by coffee shops...which is good... I certainly don't want this unique establishment to get too busy Give it a try... but don't tell everyone about it!!
