Breakfast. Not the first place that comes to mind but they make decent baguettes with a choice of bacon, sausage or egg for about four quid including coffee.
Other than that, It's a Greggs. It's the same as all the others, it takes card and cash payments and sells reasonably priced pastries, slightly overpriced sandwiches and totally overpriced soft drinks. They bake food and let it cool down (for tax reasons I think) so you can't get fresh baked pastries and pies unless you happen to time it right - perhaps speak to the staff and find out if the have a set time they put things in for the lunch rush.
That said, you know what your getting and the food is pretty consistent although stuff often sells out later in the afternoon and they don't stay open late.

The shop and staff are ok, however the insistence that the doors are left open makes it a really unpleasant place to sit down and eat if a non smoker. Apart from the passing smokers, theres the ones who stand just outside the shop lighting up as the leave or about to come in to shop. Doesn't seem to matter to them that their bellows of smoke is disgusting. Don't expect to get any empathy from staff or smokers.
