I had filled the online application but due to missing bonafide letter, they put my app for hold and ask to walk in anytime when i had it ready but when i dropped in today early in the day by 10:30 am, they said slots are full and cant take the application forward and have to book the appointment again! Know what appointment are full for more tha a month now, The person at the reception is having the worst attitude and just asking us to open the account with another bank and not bothered to keep the customer ,worst customer service i have been through.

Generally I dislike HSBC banking since I?ve been having non-stop problems from the moment I joined, the customer service in this branch (once I?d waited and was able to speak to someone privately about my issue) was great, Sean was lovely and understanding of my dislike for HSBC and tried to go through the process as quickly and professionally as possible. He was easy to talk to and didn?t try to get me to stay with HSBC after hearing about my previous problems and current issues, no unnecessary selling of other services to me.Due to this being the only HSBC branch in Glasgow, it?s obviously very busy (especially between 12-3pm) so wait times are longer and there?s not a lot of waiting area seating - I think there were only five chairs?Overall mixed experience in terms of customer service, but Sean was great.

Date: 03.07.2023 time approximately 14:00-15:00Wish I could give 0 starI wanted to update my address and the staff member Jessica (staff memer never a name badge and it was confirmed by the branch manager) the Dodgy manager refuse to accept my valid British passport and full Uk driving licence because of my background and displayed the utmost hate they could possibly manage to expressFurther more I provide them a banks statement from another high stress bank as per Jessica?s request to show my new address which later she also refused to acceptWhilst waiting in the queue to be served and to see the manger I noticed this unhappy and full of hate employee Jessica sent almost every single customer raising some issue with their queries and I doubt if she successfully helped any customerCCTV footage is there for the bank to investigate if they are botheredI appealed to the beach manger and raised the point that HSBC website says all I needed was valid ID upon to update my address yet again the ignorant and rude manager not just refused to assist but expressed greater hate for bothering him, manager gave me a printout of the required documents for updating new account and said he would need those all documents to change update address and advised me to leave the branch and shut private room door with a bang to make me feel that I was not welcome on thereIt really feels unbelievable but this actually happened todayCan not believe that bank owned by a foreigner company has got such staff members who treat customers on the bases of their background and believes

Not necessarily this specific branch?s problem, but I would advise anyone steer clear of this bank in general. Worst customer service I?ve experienced.The person at the branch was okay and helpful enough in the moment, but it did not solve my issue and the customer service people on the phone wanted me to go back to the branch a second time and repeat showing my documents, even though they indicated the exact documents I presented in the branch (down to the bank my statement was from and type of ID I provided). I cancelled my account with them instead of making another trip to the only branch in Scotland. Happy to go through hoops once, but not twice - especially when I was told they had the documents and then was hung up on and ignored, passed around to multiple people to get information. If I could give 0 stars I would.Again, not for the individual I spoke with at the branch - but the bank as a whole.

This is very poor service, mid day 12:00pm on 14/04/2023 not that busy but can?t open account for my 11 yrs old son. This upset my son and they were watching from inside. This is the only branch in Scotland can?t serve their customers why are you open here??

I was defrauded via the internet and I went back to the bank to review my bank account and cancel the operation. The branch did a very good job and they were very understanding with me and the amount was returned within 24 hours, very wonderful work, all respect to you and your wonderful service??????

I've received fantastic service from this branch. Samantha has always been willing to help when I come in needing assistance. Shout-out to Luke as well, he gave me his undivided attention and answered all my questions very well and honestly when I needed to set up my credit card. Great team!!

Atrocious bank, can't open a simple savings account with them. Over an hour long queues for customer service then put on transfer to another over hour long wait queues just to be told I have to go to the branch. Try calling the branch, wait hour long queues to be told I cant be forwarded on to the branch and to that I have to make an appointment to wait in another queue to find out it's not possible to book an appointment at the branch and am told.to try doing a walk in at the branch. But I can't call them to see if it's worth it because they won't forward me on to anyone in the branch. 5 hours wasted.

Shocking service. Tried to call to make an appointment to open 2 new bank accounts. My nearest branch is over a half hour journey on public transport and ive been told by customs service that they cannot do this and that I would need to go into the branch. I'm not paying to travel that distance just to go into branch to be told to come back on another date. Absolutely ludicrous, never heard the likes of call centres not being able to make you a branch appt especially for new customers.

An absolute disgrace of a bank. Customer service in Glasgow branch is shocking. They look at you as if you shouldn't be in the branch. More interested in Hanging around gossiping to each other rather than serve. I've closed my business account and personal account and transferred 3 mortgages from that god awful place.I believe some angry upset lady took a hammer and smashed out all the windows at that branch. That bank does bring out the worst in some people.
