Spoke to Benjamin in the branch re my account. He was excellent and went out his way to help me. His extensive expertise sorted out any questions I had immediately. First class service and the reason I have had my account with them for decades. First class!!

Different rules at this branch prepared to other branches.There answer is that the other branches are wrong and they right.Rude arrogant staff.Go elsewhere if you want to be treated like a human being.

If I am a premier banking customer I hate to think what the service to the ordinary customer is like.... rarely answer phones, when I did get through promises for call backs never fulfilled. Utterly useless.

2 staff at door, 3 staff walking about then 1 teller on desk.Really is this how a bank is run these days and a smile wouldn't go a missLook as if they don't want to be there. Worst bank for customer service

I wish everyone would have Jonathan's customer service skills and decency. Helped me cash a cheque (showed me how to do it online as well), knew what he was doing and how to promote app functions to cust to make our lives easier.He asked me how my day was going and when he heard it was my birthday on Monday he wished me a happy birthday AND (drums in anticipation) gave me Ferrero Rocher as a happy birthday wish on behalf of RBS.:D I'm happy.

I visited yesterday and found the staff here extremely pleasant and welcoming. Shout out to the bank teller who had so much patience when helping me with my query and on top of that she had took the time to talk me through and educate me on certain offers in which she had noticed might benefit my account.Really nice people, super helpful!

Lazy, Arrogant employees.Some of the most arrogant and lazy lacking in personality employees, stood waiting, I was the only customer, for at least 5 minutes to be acknowledged never mind being served with 2 cheques in my hand I started waving them to see if that worked, it did not, I just walked out.

Rude and arrogant staff on the door today. A man that actually yawned in the middle of me explaining my problem with the new extremely difficult to use RBS app, and a woman that literally rolled her eyes at me whilst I was talking to her. I will not be calling at this branch again, nor using the new app.

While having debate with Helen Morrison who approaches you in queue and hasn?t nice attitude. Helen was saying I should have bank card of person I was putting money in bank for, this person obviously needs card to use in place of money and I did this before and got card took off me. I had to put money in my account and transfer. I was standing where I could see both tellers as there is large column in middle of floor. Helen then told me to move over and then customers behind repeated this. The staff should not have conversations right beside customers who want to but in. Instead of taking me aside and speaking to me in private. Helen walked off saying she wasn?t going to stand and argue with me. All she needed to do was ask me to go for conversations in private and explain properly. I seriously thinking of changing banks so I don?t have to use this one as there isn?t loads of banks open near me. I hope this bank is next to close as Helen won?t have job, she doesn?t deserve to work with public

Terrible place. Unless you're just getting cash don't even bother coming here. Expect to wait 30+ minutes for a service that takes 2 minutes to complete. I just don't understand how they can be so slow.

Staff here nearly need to understand they work in a busy, city centre branch - Not a small loacl branch and act acordingly I.E when the queue is literally out the door, the tellers CANNOT spend 10 mins - again literally - chit chatting with every customer --- get them in, get them dealt with, get them out.. as al fast paced businesses work

That's several times I've been in this branch now and the experience haven't been good. I know it's in the city centre so it'll always be busy but every time i go in there's always a queue going all the way to the front door. Staff aren't as attentive as staff from other branches and do nothing to get rid of the queues. (i.e open more counters or asking customers if they would like to use the ATMs.) One time, the ATM failed after I tried to withdraw cash but no cash came out of the machine but still debited my account. I spoke to the staff there about it and all he did was ask me which ATM it was but didn't investigate it for me or even ask me to fill in a claim form but asked me to come back the next day! Why ask which ATM debited my card when he wasn't going to look into it at the time? He didn't even make a note about it and continued to stand about pretending he was working! Another time I was in I wanted to use the ATM, there was only one queue in the branch leading to the counters so I thought everyone was queuing up for counter services but as I was about to insert my card in the machine a woman told me she was in front of me to use the ATM. There was no separate queue for the ATMs and the staff should've redirected customers to a separate queue for the ATMs. I gave this two stars and not one as the ATM does process my cash deposits quicker than other branches. but I wouldn't use this branch unless I really needed to.

RBS is absolutely useless and disgusting.... I have for months been trying to get my own money out of a dormant rainbow savings account and have twice travelled overseas paying huge airfares to present myself in person to the bank to no avail. It is just one excuse after the next. I have countless times been told that everything is in order and that I would have my money in X amount of days only to get contacted later telling me they need this that and the next thing before they can process my request and give me my own money. I want this issue sorted NOW!! The fellow from RBS I have been speaking to has been very helpful but the processes of the actual bank and the dormant account team has been nothing but useless. I initially came in person to the bank in January and was told I would have my money by February and still at the end of August I am dealing with this issue
