Have been using this branch for years and have always found the staff very friendly and helpful. It is a very busy branch and l can only imagine that this is the main reason for any negative comments.

Staff usually pleasant enough but repeatedly told by the majority of them that as a NatWest customer ( RBS & NatWest are part of the same banking group ) I couldn?t deposit cheques using the machine for doing so. A smaller number told me that it would accept cheques for NatWest. Eventually I tried it & it does accept them !I could have saved myself a lot of time queuing for a cashier over the years if the staff were adequately trained.

What a joke. Ours tenants can no longer deposit cash into this branch. I thought that is what banks were for?? Not as if you don't take enough money off us for using the business account.

Two visits recently. Total nightmare! Doesnâ??t matter how trivial or simple your request or enquiry is...the branch will make things difficult! Most staff responses seem to be â??youâ??ll need to make an appointment for thatâ?. Be polite, stay calm but stand your ground....thatâ??s the strategy I use with the staff at at this branch. Bloody terrible service!!

Absolutely no shocks here at the 2 star status on reviews here.
3 times I've now asked them to change my branch and address, and only on the third was I told that an appointment was necessary to do these things.
Of course this all happened AFTER I was assured they had changed my branch to giffnock.
After my card was sent to my old branch that I wasn't able to get to this week due to work, i was informed by rbs that my card would be forwarded onto my (now) local branch. I'm now a week with no card and 2 defaulted payments, and instead of being profusely apologetic I was given an interrogation on how I lost my card - a bit late don't you think?
To top it all off I was asked why I didn't "just get my card sent to my address". Why you ask? Because three times I've visited the bank and three times I have been told I can't change my address until I have a card, either that line or a look of confusion and the inability to add an address.
Poor service. Combined with more local branches closing I doubt I will be with RBS any longer.

This branch does not accept coins pre-bagged in RBS cash bags. Staff not friendly, long queue on a Tuesday afternoon, organised chaos. As an RBS customer for 50+ years this is worst service I've experienced in any RBS branch.

So apparently now you can't walk into a branch and deposit money in an account?? Why exactly then are these places doing open because this one just seemed to be a gossip shop.
