Opening hours have changed to 8am-10am Monday to Friday and 12pm on SaturdayThis is a joke! How can you expect people to collect parcels in a two hour window.Staff there told me that they are looking to close this delivery office. Which is even worse. How many more miles will we have to them travel to collect parcels that half the time you fail to deliver correctly.

I've always found the service at Baird St. particularly good. Very helpful, even when you're a nuisance customer who has forgotten their id or calling card etc. #supporttheroyalmail

Arrived half an hour before closing and the queue of people had the shutter pulled down on us. If the queue that formed was not going to be seen someone should?ve been out well before 2.05pm to let us know not to waste half an hour. 15 minutes was spent with one woman arguing about something and she left empty handed. If they?re as short staffed as they say perhaps focus on actually serving the people who have arrived with their postage slips and ID instead of bickering with one person until close. Guy who closed the shutters claims he doesn?t know anything because ?he?s just a postman? okay well why are you down here instead of customer service. He didn?t even bother to tell the people at the end of the queue, that was left to the customers at the door. Covid really isn?t an excuse for level is mismanagement. Quite insulting when you?ve been attempting to get your post for multiple weeks already.
