Very annoying with the reduced hours for many people to collect. I know these decisions are made way above the workers at this branch who seem to get the brunt from the annoyed customers. It's a shame as the staff are lovely and helpful here. They are told to implement a system that clearly doesn't help their customers, but they have no choice but to enact it as I can imagine they're short staffed too. But the people at the top don't seem to care about this as there is no real alternative in the UK, so why would they care?I would try not to take it out on the staff at this branch as they are trying their best, especially now as they are coming into the Christmas period and are dealing with a surge of new items.I would say to put complaints into the Royal Mail website. However, I doubt this would change anything.

Shambles of a delivery office. Heard from the horses mouth they hold parcels and refuse to deliver them. For example "they're not sending parcels out today mate". Same goes for letters aswell, they hold them and send out like the weeks worth at a time. An absolute shambles and I've have nothing but problems with them. Thing is the postys in general are great. It's the folk making the decisions to not send mail/parcels out that are the problem.Another thing, I ordered the same thing twice off the same company, they posted it at the same time to different addresses. Mines came about 5-6 days later than the other address. Another example of this delivery office refusing to send out parcels.?

I was originally instructed by text to sit in and wait for my package to arrive between 08:30 am and 11:30 am. The package did not arrive until 16:30 pm. I obviously wasn't in. I received a card instructing me to contact their office. Rather than wait in the whole day in which my package would come anytime between 08:00 am and 19:30 am, I opted to come and collect it at the sorting office. I waited patiently in a small que only to be told, my package had been rerouted to another location, only yards away, at my own request. It would not arrive there until 19:30 pm. When nobody was round, the man, bald, slightly overweight, probably in his mid-fifties could not have been any more unpleasant. He told me, to ensure my mail arrived on time, I should pay him and his boys an extra fee to ensure my packages don't go galivanting. Whatever that means.

Edition 17/06/2022 19:00I have just took the parcel to the post office running to get there with 7-8 KG big box. The guy there denied he can?t send the parcel with the free post return. he completely denied sending it for return he said it doesn?t have the label with barcode on it. Told and shown the free post label he said doesn?t have the barcode I can?t scan I can?t process and said to him it?s (free post return). He can?t do it and told me to go to the post office he was just rushing me off and said there are two other guys behind me he said to go away because he was finishing his shift it was really poor and rude service that?s the 2nd time happened to me at the same place it represents Royal Mail really annoying

Never had any issue with this collection point or my postmen. Always friendly staff at the collection point and my postman for G13 is a gent! 10/10 folks, keep up the good work! ?
