In this shop of Sainsbury's I go for specific products what I can find only here. Previously I loved the shopping but I think the staff and/or management change. In one of my visits the boy on the till was unpleasant. Sorry to have to put down the star rating on 3

Shop is always clean and tidy any time I'm in and the checkout staff are very nice. Only bad point is it's really pretty expensive, you only really go for convenience to be honest.\\n\\nOh! And the hot food at the back is delicious!

It's a grocery shop it has the stuff you expect, the deli staff are always pleasant, but i dont know what is with a lot of the stock and checkout staff, always look miserable, stand smack bang in the middle of isles, glare at you if you say excuse me to get past. The checkout staff dont exchange any pleasantries with customers for the most part (but will talk to their collegues whilst serving you...rude) they'll mumble to ask for id or telling you who much your shopping comes to, and then despite the til being relatively deep thus your shopping being a stretch to get to they wont pass the shopping to you just stare at the bag until you reach over to their side to collect it, and no farewell as you leave, they need some serious training (emphasis being on the elderly staff)

Visiting Glasgow for a weekend, I had occasion to use the Buchanan Street store, to top up on shopping: having purchased a bottle of Gordon's Gin and 2 'Yellow Tail' bottles of red wine - specifying that I
had better have a strong bag to ensure their safe transit - I awaited my friend near the front door. I momentarily let go of the bag - which was perched upon my weekend case - as I texted my friend to let her know where I was. Yes ...... there followed a 'tsunami' of wine, as the bag slipped to the floor, much to the amusement of passers by! In no time at all, a member of staff - a gentleman named ZIAUL - arrived to reassure me and organise the clear-up. Not only that, but he hastened to speak to the manager (Zac/Mick - not sure of name), to seek permission for 2 replacement bottles of wine - what an outstanding gesture! In the meantime, 2 young staff - uni students - by the names of Barbara & Robert couldn't have been kinder or more empathetic, as they cleared the mess. Much appreciative of everyone's efforts to provide an excellent service to a clumsy customer! Oh .... the Gin? it survived unscathed!!

It has a wide range of products. Fresh and frozen food. Everything you'd expect from Sainsbury's with their usual high quality and reasonable prices.

No reductions. Usually around 8ish get few bargains. As central to City costs are higher. Better at Tesco in Sucihall street. Better range discount , prices!! It is what it is plus no longer do meal deals for lunch ð?¤?

Handy location, and it's a fair size. Between the chilled cabinet and the deli it's a decent shout to grab some quick lunch on the go. Loads of self service checkouts as well so the queue moves quick.
