The staff in the store were great and were very helpful. However everything after the visit turned into a 2+ month saga for flooring. Delivery was very slow, communication was chaotic and getting through to the store was almost impossible since it gets routed through a central call system. Use of other companies meant they ended up giving me the phone number of their hard flooring supplier to chase them. Would not use them again.

2 year old leather suite frayed at stitching told by technician scs pet scratches nonsense. Had recommended upholsterer out bad workmanship. 450.00 to repair. Going to consumer rights ? awful

Bought a carpet for my sister for her new house (baby's room) but they fitted a door bar that was covered in spikes on the both sides of the door. It's to hold down the carpet if there was two carpets either side of the door but the problem is that the baby is crawling in and out of the room over the spikes which we cant have. We were never told that there where different types of door bars and that we would need a flat one and not a spiked one. We can't carpet the hall just now because the walls have artex from the 80s and it needs plastered as it could contain asbestos in it and we don't have the money to do that for at least a year which we can't do either because the baby needs his room. We have phoned scs twice now and they have never gotten back to us. The fitter was supposed to come out today to change the bar which we sat in all day for and was a no show. We phoned scs again and the call agent couldn't be less interested. If the baby is injured in any way by the spikes on the door bar we will hold scs personally liable nor will we be buying the couch my sister had seen or her bedroom carpet from them either. After service care is practically non existent. Would not reccomend.

Visited your Drumchapel Retail Park store and was helped throughout our whole process by the lovely, efficient, professional and knowledgable Shannon. From the very start I knew I was in safe hands as she was very conscious of my disability and immunosuppressed status not only through the store but also in my needs as I moved in and out of the recliners. She couldn't have been any more considerate or confident in her products.I didn't know there was so much into buying a recliner, but I know that we have made the right choice, but I'd never have gotten there without Shannon. She was a star. No hard sell, just friendly and calm, explaining to me before I knew what to expect or need even! We really knew we could trust her. That made me feel very safe in my relatively new disability as well as in spending money. We will have no hesitation in asking for her when we do decide on more furniture.It was a wee bit off-putting as two men in blue shirts kept walking round the store shooting glances and comments at sales professionals. This might be normal for the sales professionals as Shannon didn't react, but as customers we felt like we were under the microscope, and that they were too.Thanks so much Shannon for an excellent and really nice and pleasant time with you. You're a genuinely lovely person, and an excellent, professional salesperson. Wishing you well in your career, you deserve it.

Wandered in on a whim, friendly staff, not pushy at all. Great range of stock. Really comfy sofas... so comfy I almost bought one on impulse! Love the recliner models, tempted, so very tempted.Only fly, and it's minor... nothing has prices, other than the room accessories; designer TV stands, bookcases, coffee tables. And these are, um, shall we say expensive.

Ridiculous the way we have been treated suite ordered oct21 told delivery late January 22 called in2 store 25th January told delivery date has been moved to 9th February thought I would pop in on 8th after my old suite taken away and now delivery moved again to 12th Feb so me and my 78 yr old hubby are on garden chairs.they got cash deposit and it will be cash balance.will never go near this lot again

Friendly and welcoming staff. Weren't pushy and gave good advise. Was asked what budget was, which allowed them to show carpets within that price range rather than showing something outwith and feeling embarrassed when having to say no. Was served by Norrie

I booked an appointment here, purchased two 2seater leather sofas, Stephen the salesman was excellent and informative, the only downer was a January delivery date, although this time appears to be normal. Good parking and easy access all with a tremendous selection of stock. Both impresses and well pleased.

I have been really disappointed at the customer service that I have received. I understand that it is difficult for everyone at the moment but the call centre is simply appalling. It took me 3 days to finally get through to someone to get some more information on the depth of the pile so that I could cut my doors as I had workmen in. Once I got through, I was told that someone would get back to me ASAP with this info. Over a week later I still didn?t get a reply. So again I had to call, which took forever to get through. I then got through and explained the situation. After looking up my information and having all of my details, I got cut off. I thought ?surely she will call me back? but no, no call. I was also really disappointed in the fact that the carpet fitter left bags of underlay and loads of the carpet tacos everywhere for me to dispose of. My carpet was also delayed by another week leaving me with no suitable flooring and my heavily pregnant wife having to stay in to deal with the fitters. Really poor show, all round.

So Far So Good.We made a purchase yesterday at Great Western Retail park. We were very happy with both the salesman Marcus and the manager Chris. They were friendly and professional at all times. I was really struggling between two sofas and they were great, giving me the information I required without pressurising me in any way.We are happy so far, hopefully delivery will be seamless too (heading to a Scottish Island so a little more unusual).

Professional polite and friendly service. We knew exactly what we wanted, the sales assistant respected our choice and offered his help by taking us through the available options without trying to upgrade the sale. We were both pleased and grateful for the help and guidance provided.

I purchased a sofa from this store a month ago the staff was friendly and helpful but my only complaint is at the beginning when i , my wife and my 2 kids entered the store and tried to walk around the store and have a look at the sofas the way the store staff were watching us we werenâ??t feeling good that was like you have cctv camera keeps following you incase you steal something which was so annoying rather than that all was good

The furniture here is lovely and the quality is very good but the service was appalling. My husband and I visited this store to make a definite purchase (after visiting the previous day). Were put off by the lack of courtesy and actually felt as if we were a bit of a nuisance. Very nonchalant staff, all male and full of their own egos and couldn't care less whether or not they made a sale. One of the assistants was so hostile that I came away slightly shocked. (I had a problem remembering the exact measurements of my existing sofa and he was so disparaging, aggressive and dismissive that I wondered whether what was going on). Fortunately my faith in civility was restored when we visited another store and the staff were friendlier and more eager for us to spend a significant amount of cash. Shopping at SCS makes you realise why some shops are all going out of business, staff lose their jobs and people shop online instead.
