This is a really good opticians-I've been taking myself and my 2 teenage daughters here for years and they are so caring and professional. As a single dad, I like the fact that the staff really understand my daughters different needs and help them both.

Was due my 2 year eye test, so made an appointment. Have been going here for the past 15 years and have always received good service & advice. The first eye test consists of a 2D photo of your retina, but on this occasion, they can take a 3D photo, for an extra £10. They say it allows them to see all round you inner eye...so decided to do.The rest of the eye test is free.Also chose new frames which is reasonably priced. There are designer frames...if that rocks your boat. They will also repair your old frames for free, if they were purchased from here too.

Went to Specsavers for my bi-annual eye test. The staff was very professional and helpful and I couldn?t fault them for that part of their service.What was disappointing is that they were not able to reframe my old frames. This is despite the fact that they have put lenses into those same frames before. The problem lies with the laboratory that they are using. If the frames do not have a CE label, they will not touch them, which is pretty ridiculous. This implies that they won?t reframe any US American, or Japanese specs, no matter how good the quality is or how expensive the frames. I realise that this is not Specsaver?s fault per se, but that of the lab they use. Still, it was a disappointing experience. Had to go somewhere else instead to get the job done.

Exceptional help with old glasses from Karen, who used her own resouces to repair the damage. Also from another team member member who adjusted the fitting of the new pair on a subsequent drop in visit for greater comfort. Exceptional service.
