“Absolutely love Agora! I know I can count on them to find all of my favourite greek products. Delivery is always SUPER quick and the products are packaged carefully so there are no issues in transport. I have never had any issues and I've shopped with them many times, I definitely recommend it to everyone!”

“Friendly staff, very helpful when you can't find an item you're looking for. They will even unlock a trolley for you with their special tool when you don't have a pound coin, trolley token, or any change to swap for a pound coin. They will just unlock one for you - you do need to ask, and it helps if you've already picked up a big item that won't fit in a basket. Just tell them you don't carry cash and that does the trick. The best thing about this place is actually the friendly helpful beggar who often sits outside wishing people a good day! They've recently moved the entrance to another position, and he is so helpful - maybe he has a talent for noticing when people are heading toward the wrong door?I've seen him helping older folks carry heavy items to their cars and never asks for money (though the cup he holds out infront of him gives the game away). He offers to take their trolley back and tries to give them back their pound coin, and most will refuse and tell him to keep it, its really nice to see because this guy seems to geniunely want to help without expecting a payment. In my opinion, this store should give him a paid position as their meeter and greeter. I'm sure they'd actually get less custom without him there - I know that if I, for one, walked the full length of the store and back without finding the entrance, I'd not even bother going in I'd be already too irritated! What a guy!”

“I like this shop so much. Necessary home item with reasonable price!! Only issue is their collection of items are not good enough to cover all my needs. I need to go to other supermarket for remaining items.”

“If you need frozen food then this is the place for you. It even has fresh refrigerated food. It even, unbelievably, has food stored at an ambient temperature. And, plot twist, non-food items too. In all seriousness, Iceland is pretty underrated. This store has a decent range of things at good prices. Plenty of deals and nice staff at the tills. Give it a try.”

“Great wee shop. We are in every week and always find a bargain. Friendly, cheerful staff, especially Kim who has a sparkling personality and goes above and beyond everytime. The banter between staff and customers is first class, not Lee however, whose banter is rotten ?”

“I always love my visits to Lidl. They sell the tastiest Greek coconut flavour and honey flavoured yoghurt's, for way under a pound for a large tub. Also their fruit \\u0026 veg is very cheap and well worth purchasing. Very fresh! Love Lidl's x”

“I use Lidl Dennistoun quite often as I work in the area. On Sunday I was served at check out by a really friendly and helpful member of staff (Nicola.) She has served me before and her customer service is excellent (5star) The store was busy on Sunday and she had a huge queue at her till. At no point did she rush anyone and was so patient and helpful. She definitely puts the customer first. Well done Nicky you are definitely a credit to the store. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“Very solid Lidl near Shawlands/Newlands. Rather go here than the Morrisons beside it. Has mostly everything you could want, isn't too stressful a shopping experience generally, and the staff are good.”

“Store is more consistent than other lidil locations with the selection of products often being kept on the same place or close enough that it's not a mind melt trying to find my favs. Has lost a star because the tills are so short at the end so it can feel a little rushed packing your items.”

“Wide range of products. Fresh produce is very good. Clean store. Staff approachable. Middle aisle offers can be a great deal. Can be a bit slow with restocking after busy days so I avoid Mondays as shelves can be a bit bare.”

“Regularly visit our local Sainsbury's as their prices on everyday items. They have a good stock of items.Good variety of clothes for women. Not so much for children & men.In house Argos which is useful.Very few checkouts opened as they want customers to use the scan machines. Okay if you have a few items The staff are great at ensuring that if there is a queue at a checkout, they get staff to open further lanes. Also provide a click & collect plus home delivery.”

“Staff in Farmfoods are AMAZING! Plenty of the usual products and some that may be of a surprise such as make up, a jet washer or toys for the kids. Also, there is a recycling machine here that takes cans and plastic bottles for 5p each which you can use towards your shopping - BONUS!”

“Was in Auldhouse store today for a small item. Noticed some things I would like. I’m recovering from surgery so not really able to lift much. Spoke to the assistant Gail. She dropped everything, got me a trolley , loaded it and asked me if I needed anything else. Pushed the trolley to the cash desk and was going to load my car. The store was busy so Gail was needed on the checkout. The manager immediately took over from Gail. She took me to my car and loaded the stuff in. These girls went way above and beyond. Not something you see in many shops these days. Thank you so much.”

“It feels a bit pokey, probably because of the low ceiling. Product range is good but like most Iceland stores it has a rather pitiful selection of frozen fruit and veg.”

“Always love Home Bargains, my favourite chain store, has everything I want and more, thankfully this Home Bargains doesn't sell the silly small aquarium tank.”
