I was looking for a Lonely Planet book for my Niece for her gap year which they had, the only downside for me was the tables had books stacked over the edges which makes navigating the store that little more difficult in a wheelchair, it's usually okay so will put it down to the Festive Season

This Waterstones store follows the format of the many other Waterstone stores. However, I felt that this store is more focused on children books (upstairs) and fiction (downstairs). I saw, of course, also corners with travel, art, and history, cook books. There is no café like in some of the larger stores. This store is not so overrun. I would have enjoyed some more and also more comfortable reading areas. The attraction of a physical store is the test reading, smell and feel of real paper of real books after all, isn't it?
