Now have our 2 cars & both daughters’ cars looked after by him.Today had one of them in to check out a knocking noise - advised on best course and no need to worry about at the moment.Other places would’ve replaced parts and charged labour and may not have even been needed and/ or fixed it.Wouldn’t go anywhere else and highly recommend here - if it needs done it will be done for a reasonable price - if it doesn’t need done or there is an alternative option Malcom will say so.”

Generally they always have a code to get money off but that just takes the price to the same as most places.However that is not due to the shop in Inverness setting the pricesFriendly staff and easy to order and collect.”

“I called to book my car in for it's MOT test and 5 year service. Ian called back and confirmed cost which was competitive with major dealers so went ahead and booked. Following MOT test Ian called and let me know advisories and that wiper blades needed replacement which was fine. Only additional costs were for wiper blades. He also let me know what work would be required before the next MOT test.I took the opportunity to inspect the workshop from the open doorway and could see it was modern, well maintained and had excellent housekeeping. Great service and will definitely use again.”

“Really carnt thank this garage enough, after travelling 400 miles upto Inverness my engine management light came on, was well and truly stuck, I came across chalmers garage who agreed to plug my vehicle in for me, upon diagnosis of the fault the gentleman even offered to allow me to order a part to be delivered directly to them, IThis was amazing service and I carnt thank them enough I would highly recommend chalmers garage to anyone thankyou excellent service ?”

“Customer service agent on site was very helpful, unfortunately due to the lack of a Mazda parts system I was unable to purchase the manufacturer only parts from this depot, I tried to buy a battery for the same car this was unfortunately not in stock, online order with free delivery in 3-5 days, I opted for 1-2 days for £7 as the battery is £100 cheaper than Halfords even with my trade card”

“Great service, whole-heartedly recommend.The man is reliable and he knows what he's doing. The price of the repair (which was really urgent, see the whole story below) was very reasonable. Plus he's the kind of person who goes an extra mile which is not very often today!Me and my partner were heading north to make our dream come true - drive the famous North Coast 500 when we started having problems with our brakes near Aviemore. The front l/h sidesbrakes started squeaking, the wheel was extremely hot and the smell didn't mean anything good. And it was Sunday, so most garages were closed. We decided to have a little break and head to Inverness. We tried Halfords and Kwikfit without any luck. Anyone else were closed. Then we found the Crossways garage that didn't have opening hours on Google Maps and decided to give it a try. The man said we can come on Monday morning and he will help us. And he did! We left the car there, went for a wee walk and after an hour and a half it was ready. The man checked and cleared both brakes (although we only said one side needed repair). Also, we had a petrol can in the boot which turned out to be leaking. He aired the car and found some sticks to put the can on them to let the petrol evaporate from the bottom of the boot. Very resourceful! I can now say that we safely drove the whole NC500 route (including the Applecross Pass which has 20% average gradient!), so this proves the repair was carried out satisfactory and to the highest standards! “The best fuel station I have been to in 10 countries! The prices are reasonable but most important it has a shop inside with snacks plus everything you need for your car in case of emergency including instant temporary flat repair. Given the roads in the Highlands, even if you’re renting a car, this is something you should carry and I wish we had thought of it before we got our flat. Even the bathrooms are extraordinarily clean, with soft and thick toilet paper! You won’t find that even in some of the better hotels.”
