Felt terribly sorry for the blonde girl on the till by herself when I came in last week. With a massive queue of people waiting to order and pay for their food and hot beverages. There appeared to be plenty of adults around.. chatting and clearing tables.. and this poor young girl was left to do the till and make all the hot beverages alone. Don't get me wrong she did a brand job but I could not help but notice how unfair the dynamic seemed!!! She was rushing around and they were just floating about chatting.

Cafe was clean staff were lovely we were served very quickly we alway go to this cafe So staff knew our order and our coffees were ready waiting for us we love the service here

I recently had the opportunity to visit the M&S cafe in Inverness, and unfortunately, I must say that I was not impressed with my experience. The service was slow and disorganised, and the staff seemed to lack the necessary training to provide a high level of service. The quality of the food was average at best, and the presentation was lackluster. There was great customer service fir regular customers. However with a queue stretching out into the main shop you cannot afford the time with individual customers. There needed to be a greater focus on getting everyone served. As customers, we expect a higher level of service and attention to detail, and I was disappointed by my recent visit.

My husband and I visited before Christmas and had to wait a very long time to be served. The service was poor and the food was poor also u did not expect this as other M&S outlets are better , but it has been a while since I last visited.

Could someone explain to me how Marks & Spencer can charge £2.00 for an iced bun when downstairs in the food hall - they are selling for £1.50 for 2 in a pack, this is working out at far more than 100% profit, absolutely daylight robbery!!!

We were passing through Inverness & after an early start wanted coffee & a snack. We've done this before & always enjoyed our visit to M&S. Not this time. My husband picked a toasted sandwich but noted that they were all made with sour dough bread. Ok he thought, I'll go with that. I ordered toast, to be told they only do sour dough toast! Ok. Could I have butter & marmalade. No marmalade & only one flavour of jam. Blame Brexit the assistant says! Really?? Come off it. This is M&S not a small cafe. Do they not sell jars of marmalade in the food hall & it could have been served in small pots?? Anyway my sour dough toast arrived & luckily I've still got all my teeth as it was like chewing cardboard. So what's going on? I know sour dough is on trend at the moment but really it doesn't lend itself to toasting. Customer service seems to have gone out the window. We'll have to find another place to grab a snack next time we're in Inverness as won't go there again.

Most disgusting lunch I have ever been served in my entire life. I ordered a Latte which was fine and a tuna and cheese baked potato, which smelt absolutely disgusting, was obviously served up in an ice cream scoop with no care or consideration at all and I was given an absolutely vile looking coselaw. The tuna was also hard on the top and it was very obvious it was just about to go out of sell by. It was absolutely stinking. Also when you walk in you don't get a smile from the staff they all seem very stressed and hostile, not sure if they are short staffed but this cafe appears to be run very poorly. It's such a shame because Marks & Spencers grocery store and clothes are great quality.

Only criticism was long queuing to place order and then long wait for food at a non peak period. Reasonable choice of hot snacks and beverages, sandwiches and soups and prices similar to other nearby Eateries. Tables cleared and cleaned quickly.

I was returning items from an online order, however went to the wrong till. A woman with blonde hair called Sandra was incredibly helpful and returned my items at that till, her customer service was superb - even when I had gone to the wrong place. 10/10! ?

Convenient but pricey. Small Gluten Free /Free From section, unfortunately half of it contains Soya; a common allergen. Wish the range was free from Soya too!!

Good service in the cafe but I've had a better bacon roll. A stodgy, chewy roll and stringy bacon. Coffee was good.
