Good quiet hotel perfect for one

Easy to find and good location right next to Asda and some takeaways. Plenty of free parking.Check In was friendly and fast. I was in room 307 which was in the separate block, very quiet apart from the room above It sounded like a herd of elephants were staying in the room, but thankfully were quiet during the night. The room was clean, the bed was comfy and there were two usb sockets by each side of the bed, which were handy. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because the room was too hot. The temperature was set to 22c, changed it to 16c but it kept going back to 22c, so switched it off in the end!For those complaining about the breakfast box, go to Harry Gows bakery just behind the hotel for breakfast, much better choice.Rooms: Large, clean and comfortable.Food & drinks: Takeaway and a bakery just behind hotel, and supermarket next door.

This Travelodge is further out of InvernessThe rooms I had were better equipped, phone charging points next to the bed, so you don't wake up with a half empty battery. The TV arrangement was helpful, it was pivoted on a fairly large table, so you could eat a takeaway, whilst easily enjoying programmes on the TV. This may seem obvious, but some Travelodge rooms haven't come up with this helpful arrangement! They've placed the TV several feet from the table, halfway up the wall, bolted to the wall, so it can't be tilted for viewing. I'm glad to see that these rooms were more client friendly! And the final touch - a bath. Ideal.

Stained sheets and towels.Heating at 22° at night with no possibility of lowering it (much too hot and guaranteed headache)

Bang average and basic work digs. Does the job with no frills or luxuries. The breakfast option is woeful.

Needs soundproofing. Every time I?ve stayed I?ve been in a ground floor room and the sound from rooms above is absolutely atrocious and if you?re a light sleeper you will have no luck getting a good nights sleep. Staff are lovely and helpful though.Nearby activities: Right next to go carton and bowling etc so suppose there?s that if you?ve not got pets.

Nice big room but bath tub hadn't been cleaned. Cheap and cheerful if all you need is a bed to put your head down. Right next to Asda and near Inshes, handy location.

Great budget hotel. Comfy bed, clean rooms, brilliant shower. Plenty USB charging points. Used to be free WiFi but it's £3 a day now, which isn't too bad I suppose.
