My own branch of RBS was closed in Bishopbriggs a few years ago (to few customers! )as was Possilpark.I do my banking online but I had a large amount of cash in notes and a substantial sum in £2 coins to deposit, so my only option to visit a branch is Kirkintilloch or West Nile St, I attended Kirkintilloch place was empty but someone at coin Deposit still breezed by me , anyway explained to teller I have a sum of notes to deposit and the aforementioned coins, she said the coins would need to go through machine as they didn?t have a business till ! I said I was ok puting through a few hundred quid in silver through machine but not a substantial sum of £2 coins , so basically a bank that can?t take coins as they have no storage facilities for same ! You couldn?t make it up ironically the RBS in Bishopbriggs had a business teller which took coins, defo changing bank stuck with RBS for too long they are terrible my wife?s Bank of Scot branch in Bishopbriggs is half the size more helpful and has a business teller.

Waited in the queue for branch opening. On opening we were all questioned as to why we were there. I explained I was paying in my sons birthday money and had his account number and sorting code (this was his branch) I was turned away because I didn?t have his bank card or a pre printed pay in slip. I can understand them not giving out that information but I had it and just wanted to pay in. It means another trip, another queue and today it means giving up my lunch break at work to go due to their useless opening hours.

Incorrect information given during the closing of a Help to Buy ISA account, stated that this would take 5 days and yet not one of the five people spoken to between the RBS branch in Kirkintilloch or over the phone with NatWest actioned things correctly or ensured this time frame was met.Urgent emails are seemingly not dealt with in a reasonable time frame and steps are taken simply to pass people off and avoid resolving issues. In another situation this is something that could be laughed over and allowed to play out, but it is much more challenging to see the humour when missing timeframes and providing information leads to problems with meeting settlement agreements on property purchases.

Opening times are shocking and when you get there the cue is always massive.

Went down with my mum to sort out her finances after sadly losing my dad earlier that month. Struggled to get an appointment so went down. After waiting in a queue for an inordinate length of time finally got see someone which I wish I hadn't clearly had social issues with zero empathy to the situation. Made a difficult time more difficult.

No point in posting an incorrect phone number for a branch, and this is just the Lenzie one how many others are unobtainable?

Opening times couldn't be any more difficult 9:30-4:30 Monday to Friday, its as if they don't want the average person who works a 9-5 to be able to come in.And when you eventually get time to come in they tell you to go online! Know wonder retail is closing down.

I am absolutely furious with the way I have just been dealt with by the RBS Mortgage Centre. I phoned today to check why I had not been refunded a £750 mortgage overpayment made on 7 June. The Mortgage Centre absolutely assured me that the money had been refunded to my current account on 11 June. I asked them to repeat this and confirm my current account number to ensure there was no mistake. Yet there was no sign of it in my current account. I phoned RBS Customer Services to try to resolve this matter. Customer Services were as much use as a chocolate teapot. All they could do was confirm that the money was not in my current account, and then hand me back to the mortgage centre. There was no senior supervisor or manager who could help me out. I was being passed from pillar to post. I was passed back to the RBS Mortgage Centre and, lo and behold, a note had been added to my account dated today requesting an action to refund £750 to my account. I can only conclude that when I first phoned the mortgage centre, the person I spoke to realised that they had made a mistake in not refunding my money, but lied to try to cover up the mistake, and then raised the action to refund the money when I got off the phone. RBS - What a despicable way to do business. You will certainly not get any more new business from me. Not even worth one star!!!

Yet last time in irvine I went to counter and was told to use the hatch as i had too much money! Never again will i use Kirkintilloch ! RBS are a pretty poor bank now!

Long waiting times and auto pay in machines are faulty. Shut down local bank and cannot manage the few they keep open.

With the closure of Lenzie and bishopbriggs, service should be improved to cover demand, opening hours should keep up with modern living ie increased so that people can bank outside of their business hours. Opening hours should be updated on google search!!! All will help with queue management
