“Over the weekend had unusual ‘thready floaters in left eye! 9am Monday phoned and explained situation. Very pleasant assistant took all details and said she’d pass to opthalmologist who would call me back. Thirty minutes later I was rung back and offered an appointment for 10.15.Arrived at the shop to be taken straight through to opthalmologist who put drops into eyes! Moved to waiting area a short while later moved back to consulting room and a barrage of tests done with clear explanations all the way through! I had to one test result to be produced but everyone was friendly and reassuring! Went back to opthalmologist who explained eye was ok but should I experience worsening conditions or other symptoms to go back! 100% professional but also kind and compassionate in what was an extremely worrying situation”
