Great place to shop

Staff are always really nice and the shop is generally well stocked with the essentials. However, the prices in store are a mixed bag of very reasonable or extortionately expensive. Be very careful and use your common sense when shopping here to avoid paying over the odds.

Great wee convenience store with super deals. I love it for the label printing facility when returning parcels to Amazon. You just show the QR code and it prints off a sticky label for your parcel which you then dump in their parcel cage. And the staff are always cheery and helpful. I'm not too sure about the customers managing to wear masks, sanitize on way in and stay distanced but that's not the store's fault, all the staff wear their masks even behind the perspex screens. I think that's good manners and courtesy. It's a bit out of my way but I prefer it to the esso at the top of ayr road because it's much more welcoming.

Very rude staff, not only to me but to other customers. Most unhelpful and I'll never use again. She is certainly not customer friendly.

Staffs were unfriendly and a bit rude. Also I never see them smile. I work in customer service but I make the effort every shift to be friendly and polite at my work. So when I see others work in customer service I hold them to the same standards, which this place lacks.

My bad experience and rejection of an expected service from Londis High Street shop in Newton Mearns- 26/03/2020- 8:15 Hrs-I went to the Londis store to send Hermes parcel returns. (I use this place to fill Diesel and also send parcels along with buying small provisional things regularly for the past 10 years.)The moment I approached the counter, the lady at the counter told me bluntly that we do not take Hermes parcel anymore. I can confirm 'Hermes collection' was still displayed in front of the store!I was shocked and initially thought that Londis stopped doing it. Then I have asked clarificationQ1)- Is it Londis stopped taking Hermes-Ans1)-'This is nothing to do with Londis- I am not taking it as it is my decision.Q2)- How can you not change the policy when the shop still say in the front door that it takes Hermes parcel?Ans2)- It is my decision- I do not want to deal with these things, I do not know where they were lying before( I had a feeling that it was very insensitive). All of our colleagues here are not taking it as well.Q3) - I am disappointed, are you sure you mean what you say? What shall I do now?Ans3)- You can take it to other Hermes collection centers OR try your luck in post officesI have pointed out that it is labelled for Hermes and all wrapped and secured with Hermes return and I cannot take it to a post office . The lady at the counter got more rude, arrogant in attitude and firmer to say 'it is my decision'Q4) Could I ask you what is your name(There was no name badge on her and she was the only customer care personnel I could see in that counter)Ans4)- ********e. I have asked for surname and it was not answered. The concerns I am raising here are1) I understand these are difficult time and we are all stretched to our limit. The government has announced e-commerce firms, online shopping and online returns as part of essential services and Londis offer Hermes drop off. Can someone deny it personally without the company taking a general policy?2) How come that lady say that you can try other drop in centers or post office when she was not willing to touch a parcel(That lady was wearing a glove)- are other people in post office or other shops are less privileged than her?3) I am a doctor who work in the NHS and this is extremely challenging period for us as well. I had to spend another 45 mins to find another shop to send the parcel. I am delighted to say that the person in that second shop was extremely courteous and professional. Why are people like this lady act so rude, arrogant and insensitive? If they have health concerns, could they not rather not to come for work? What would this lady feel when or if she go to a hospital with some infection and the staff behave with one-thousandth of her attitude???Please have a clear policy. It was shocking to see a staff can be so arrogant and rude but still openly declare it is her own decision, when there are clear national guideline to keep people 2 meters away and to use non touch technique(she was wearing a pair of gloves).God save her and Londis

I too have had a bad experience using this BP garage to drop off a Hermes Parcel Shop. The older woman serving was rude when I dropped it off and made it clear it was an inconvenience. After 3 weeks, Amazon still have not received the parcel and Hermes have no knowledge of it. I returned to the BP Londis, Old Mearns Road to enquire about it and unluckily for me was confronted by the same sour faced old hag. She was not interested at all and claimed it was nothing to do with them. Having handed over my parcel to her and having proof of receipt then I would say that the interaction between BP as the parcel shop drop off and Hermes is her problem. But no way was she taking anything to do with it. I would avoid this place like the plague. The old witch has no idea about customer service and if she doesn't like her job then she should perhaps get another one rather than inflicting her nasty personality on the general public.
