Linda and Megan in Tesco North Berwick, who helped me with my click and collect order today were absolutely brilliant. They couldn?t have done any more to help me. They were both very knowledgeable, helpful, professional, and most of all very kind. Thank you ?

A superstore that closes at 6pm on a Sunday? Tiny store, grumpy staff, poor opening hours for a 'superstore'.Also their website states "Refuel your car after you've filled your basket at our petrol filling station", except the petrol station closes at 8pm, a total pain in the backside when I went to get fuel the other day, the store is open but the fuel isn't available. Backward North Berwick NIMBYism at its worst.

Avoid buying Jersey Royals. Barely edible and out of a pack only four potatoes were edible. They looked OK on the outside but once cooked they were black inside. Yet another disappointing vegetable from Tesco.

The lack of paper bags strong enough to carry loose fruit and vegetables is putting me off shopping here. There is no ecological problem with free bio-degradable paper, and to suggest paying for small bags to carry in every time one shops is hypocritical, and clearly to the shop's financial advantage. As an addendum, I support the store's placement of netting to prevent house martins breeding. Their droppings are a hazard and unpleasant. The complainants here might accept that the birds concerned may be intelligent enough to find alternative sites for nesting, perhaps the complainants own houses.....where they will presumably be very welcome.

Absolutely disgusted to hear that Tescos is putting up netting to prevent house martins from nesting. They should be honoured! We need to learn to live alongside nature and treasure it. It?s acts like this that are the cause in the decline of so many species. You should be making it easier for birds to nest not drive them away. I will not be shopping at Tesco again.

Spring brings many joys including the return of our migratory birds. Imagine travelling home thousands of miles only to discover someone has locked you out of your home. This someone is Tesco. Another example of a giant company putting money before our environment. Every week for years I?ve shopped at Tesco??. Never again.

Edit: thank you Tesco for removing the netting! :-DThe trolleys were covered in bird poo so they put nets up to stop the housemartins nesting. Now the birds will try to get to their nests and cause a big racket and still poo on the trolleys and will probably get caught in the netting and die and then dead birds will fall on the trolleys. Why don't Tesco provide an awning for the trolleys and put a shelf under the nests to stop the bird poo.Or at least do something that will stop so many people protesting.I'm sure the RSPB can help, if Tesco is prepared to listen. It will be too late soon as all the chaos will happen when the birds come back from migration about now!

I would give a minus score if I could!I won?t be shopping here until the dangerous bird netting that they?ve put up to stop endangered house martin birds from nesting. The birds are likely to get tangled up and die trying to get to their nests! Shame on you Tesco! You are disgraceful, extremely cruel & totally unethical for doing this to these poor birds!?

This store has put up netting to stop endangered house martins nesting.House martins do not pose any danger to the public or the building. Will not shop at any Tesco

North Berwick is one of the finest bird watching sites in the country. The erecting of nets to prevent red-listed endangered species at Tesco store here is cruel, tone deaf and an absolute insult to the town's good name.

I won?t shop here until the dangerous bird netting is removed from the outside area. It has been put there to stop endangered house martin birds from nesting. They cannot get to their nests and are likely to get tangled up and die trying to do so. Disgraceful and environmentally unfriendly.

Remove the netting to allow birds to nest please.
