There is not anyone that works at this airport that we encountered (outside of the specific airline employees) that I cannot say isn't a witch or an ass. My daughters bag was chosen to be checked and the witch of a security lady argued with me on how bar soap and deodorant were liquids and had to fit in the clear bag. She made her throw away almost every toiletry item because she only allowed her one plastic bag, while others breezed through with two or three plastic bags in their bins. Also, if you leave anything behind, don't even think about anyone actually helping to go get it. The ass of the team at Menzies inside the airport claimed something I left behind was just not there, even though it magically reappeared on the same plane as it headed back to its destination and a nice passenger emailed me and was able to ship it to me. Never again. This airport sucks so if you plan to travel here, I suggest you go elsewhere and drive the rest of the way.

Don't be fooled- this airport has more to it than it seems to upon entry. Once you get beyond the security point, there are a bunch of duty-free shops and food options. The airport is clean and they seem to be fairly efficient at all check points. I will be back!

Clean and easy to navigate. The UpperDeck Lounge was comfortable and the staff were friendly and exceptionally helpful!

The airport is large and modern, and totally different than I'm used to. The gates for the planes aren't pre-detemined. They don't all open up at the same time, gates aren't known until 5 minutes prior to the first boarding call. It wasn't what I was used to, but going thru security was easy! Everyone was friendly and in general a fine mood. They weren't like our TSA agents. Prior to getting gate assignments, you're told to "wait in the lounge" which is the majority of the airport, where seating is a premium. If you have allergies to scents, be aware going through the Duty-free zone. It is a very long walk that reeks of perfume. It was hard to breathe and I wound up with a throbbing migraine.

Nice our local airport just car parking to hassle to find directionin to get in right place and you have to pay whatever even just to drop off or pick up

Can't really fault it at all! The quick drop off charges you £2, but apparently this goes to charity, so I don't mind paying it now, knowing that! Check in straight through barcode scanners, to security. We were there 30 seconds before we came to the rollers to put our carry on and coats to be security scanned and straight through. For a small airport there are enough places to eat or a bit of shopping. Toilets are immaculate. Happy days!

On my most recent trip, Glasgow airport was a nice breath of fresh air. We arrived into Glasgow from Dublin, and were totally shocked (but delighted) that we didn't have to go through another passport check. Apparently, there is an arrangement with some countries where that is not necessary. It made our arrival that much easier. And then, when we were ready to head to Glasgow center, it's super easy and quick to get there via bus. When you're inside the airport, download their app and you can buy your round trip ticket. Activate, scan the code at the bus, and then you'll be in Glasgow in no time. When we got back to the airport, to return to Dublin, the security process was so much easier than Dublin. Line was short and quick and so we had plenty of time to get to our gate. The only thing that was not exactly unpleasant, but a strange experience, were the tiny planes being used by Aer Lingus to get us between the two cities. Of course, these planes don't necessarily reflect on Glasgow airport, but there is a shuttle but process from the gates to the planes. It makes the boarding process a little more intensive than most are probably used to, but didn't seem to delay our journey too much at the end of the day.

Glasgow is one of the quickest and easiest airports to arrive in that I have experienced. We landed and were at the rental car agency within minutes. Signage was very good and the traffic flowed nicely. On our return flight we experienced the same efficient service. Dropping off the rental car was a breeze. The signage for departing flights were amble and the employees were very friendly. This airport was clean with easy access to the bathrooms. They had nice dining and shopping areas.

I found this airport really easy to get in and out of! It's about 15 minutes from Downtown Glasgow. It only took ten minutes total to get dropped off by our Uber driver, check two bags and print boarding passes, and go through security for an international flight. We sat in the Upper Deck Lounge while waiting for our flight, but there was a huge shopping mall full of duty free shops after security and on the way to the boarding gates. There were plenty of restrooms that were clean and stocked and there seemed to be plenty of food options. A solid airport choice for sure!

Solid little airport. Pretty easy in and out. Only a short 15 minute uber ride to town. Why only 4 stars? International flights have passengers go through a shopping mall worth of duty free shops on the way to gates. Overall clean, solid food choices and good location.

It's a fine airport. I'd take it over Manchester if you want to compare U.K. airports. Even flying internationally and checking a bag (full of scotch) this was an easy process. The two-hour rule is probably not applicable here for international. Had a 1pm flight to JFK. Colleagues wanted to get there two hours early. It took maybe 25 minutes to check in, drop off bag, and get through security (even factoring in that my carry-on was pulled and checked). At 11:20 I am walking through duty-free and the gate won't even be announced until 12:10. Your experience may differ, but I think you can cut it a bit closer if needed. (Oh, decent food options. Lots of shopping. Not a huge terminal.) Also, there is a fully stocked Boots!

I like this airport. I wish they didn't limit the time on the wifi, but aside from that, it's good. It's clean- and I was there for a long time and got to watch people cleaning it. Lots of people doing a great job. The bathrooms are decent, and there are choices for shopping and eating. I shopped at the small Tesco, and at and drank at Starbucks. Was quite pleased with both. Gates were easy to find, and the people at the airport were very kind and helpful.

Kind of a weird airport because when you go to your gate, you're very far away from the shops and food. There are light snacks by the gate, but nothing much at all, it was pretty disappointing. Just don't arrive hungry LOL

Small airport, easy access, quick to the gates, free wifi. Heathrow this isn't. It's not *tiny*, but it isn't all that big either. Around 15 minutes to Glasgow proper, you can cab/uber it, or take the Glasgow Express (a bus every 15 minutes or so) that gets you in right quick. The small size also has an advantage when it comes to getting to the gates - you do't have to spend all that much time waiting around at the airport. If you've got some form of FastTrack access, it's usually less than 20 minutes from the front to the gates... Theres the usual assortment of restaurants/food/whatever inside - which is actually a good thing - you can get some pretty good craft beer if you've got time to spare :-)

Hot... no air .. so freaking hot in here. Makes it unpleasant. Free wifi for 1 hour? You sit here at least 2 waiting in your plane. Someone makes some money on this.
