We were in today to get a dresser for our newly renovated bedroom. When we asked for a dark wood tall boy and when we could buy it the sales person had no interest in helping and we were told we could not have it since they have no stock on site. He made no efforts to find out how quick we would get it either. Wont be back.

Wouldn?t recommend, initial sales person was really good however we ended up with another who never fully explained dimensions etc and the couch didn?t end up fitting. Explained at the time we never had exact dimensions of our property entrances and they went off of average entrance sizes etc and said there would be no issues (obviously to get commission) couch turned up and didn?t fit and they then attempted to charge £99 to take it back, phoned branch and they said the would get back to us and never did. Total shambles is a company. Rep on phone was also a bit cheeky but they ended up agreeing to waive the return fee and refund us. They were no help in looking at a replacement so we went to NCF Living across the road who were able to deliver the same week and went into extreme detail with sizes etc and even offered to come out and measure our property to ensure it would fit.

Visit to look at settees. Plenty in showroom. Staff Jon very helpful. Did not pressure us into rush decision. Have used showroom before and love there quality of service.

Please don't buy the Melbourne Suite as the pictures below show the 4 seater after being in the house about 3 weeks and being sat on for about 5 mins before the pictures were taken. They then sent an upholsterer who showed us that the foam within was lower on the foam scale than the lowest one he had. If they had replaced the foam it would have been with the same foam. The one in the shop felt totally different so maybe the foam is the answer. We were lucky and managed to get it uplifted yesterday and hopefully a refund is on it's way. A new suite has now been ordered from a totally different company. Good luck if you go ahead........

I was dragged/taken along by my wife, because ?it?s important that this is a joint decision?, although I like what we have.We were greeted as we entered the store, but thankfully left to argue about what I was wrong about not liking for ourselves.We visited DFS first, which did have a better range, that I had found a couple I liked but, that was the wrong answer. To be fair, you certainly felt the solid quality of the sofas in Oak Furniture Land as soon as you sat down though, which is why we allegedly agreed on a suite, and bought from here.Fabric protection& delivery did add an extra £239 to the price, so make sure you factor that in to your budget, but with only a 4 week wait, my wife was very pleased with my purchase? which I?m waiting for my proper ?thank you darling?..All said and done OFL gets 5 stars, and my wife?s review is pending.

Great furniture, but absolutely terrible customer service - if you are lucky enough consultants may pay you some minimum attention, even if the store is empty, but don't expect too much - they are busy with other, more important things, and customers only disturb and annoy staff. Never again! Go for Oak Furnitureland but choose another branch for full experience and service.

There furnitures are lovely however to date, I have been to this store 6 x and 6/6 the staff have never once made any acknowledgment not even a half effort, hello which is a shame as they would have been able to make an easy sale from me. As the staff are so unattentive it's put me off buying from this store.

Rip off, trading standards need to review the pricing practices here. The advertise items at a price but it is impossible to buy it for that price. They do not stock anything that's on display. Not even the small stuff. Everything must get delivered. That costs between £15 & £60. So ticket price is meaningless,

Overall a disappointing experience.In October, offered 'free delivery before Christmas' on a bed right up until the last moment when we were informed that actually all of the 'free' delivery slots were taken, and so would require an additional £100 for special delivery to have it before Christmas. When questioned on this, we didn't get a solid response. Sneaky tactics, no doubt!Somewhat begrudgingly, we accepted as we liked the bed, had been assured it would arrive before Christmas, and the price overall was okay. December arrives, mere days before the agreed arrival date, and we were told delivery would be delayed until January as they had the mattress but were awaiting the frame. Big disappointment.Bed arrives in January, with no mattress, which we are then told will arrive mid-late January. After further calls with customer service, they finally agreed to expedite delivery, and we received the mattress the next day.Where did Oak Furniture Land magic this mattress from, when moments before we were facing another 2-3 week wait? Either bad inventory management or poor order prioritisation?The positive - everyone we spoke with in store and on the phone were polite and understanding, plus the bed, now that we have it, seems pretty good.
