I would like to say thankyou to Penicuik Medical Practice . From the receptionist who was very reassuring and helpful sorry I don't have her name to Doctor Wayne Phimister , this was a face to face appointment and a follow up call with a female Doctor sorry I didn't get her name but who were both excellent.

Dr Hamish Reid. Had a phone call with him today and his attitude was absolutely unacceptable. Speaks down on you and talks to you like you?re at the bottom of his shoe.

Disgraceful. Save the nhs. Do not give us your filthy bugs. Save us. Go away. RIP NHS. Ps. Doctors, your jobs are next, deservedly so, to go. Disgraceful service. Cowards and crminals

I think this practice is really good, the reception staff are always pleasant and do what they can to help and fit you in. My doctor is doctor Peters and i have to say she is brilliant. Dr Peters is so caring and takes you seriously, will do what she can to help you. Best doctor ive had ?

I have just recently moved medical practice to Penicuik Medical Centre. I required medical attention urgently due to leaving for work commitments abroad . The service and attention I received so promptly was fantastic. I would just like to thank all the medical staff concerned including the receptionist. It is enlightening to receive such attention in this day and age. Many thanks.

Flu injection drive in managed efficiently. In and out in 5 minutes. Even more efficient than last year. I just hope that the weather cooperates for days/weeks to come for the staff working outside for 6 -7 hours. They are some of the real heroes. Weather in October in Scotland can be brutal. Really well managed. Congratulations to all the staff concerned in both the delivery and in the planning of this vaccine delivery. Well done!

Not a patient of this practice but came to register someone and the lady I dealt with couldn't have been more helpful. An absolute pleasure to deal with.Only wish all practices were as helpful. Thank you.

I wouldn't go to Dr Drummond Begg. When my consultant told me that I may have had a stroke, Dr Begg said "But Andrew Marr had a stroke and he got better. So why not you." Fairly thick thing to say. Plus when I first needed a wheelchair he shouted at me angrily in the public corridor, "Well here is a woman age 50 and in a wheelchair." Yet I was gutted about losing my mobility and still am. It's like going through grief for your mobility. The first person we turn to when we get ill, is our doctor. We certainly don't expect humiliation and harassment. So much for respect and dignity? It traumatised me and I lost all my confidence and my life ruined. Yet Dr Begg won't apologise. He wrote too on my notes saying that I had an MRI on my leg when it wasn't true. I saw another side to his personality. If he says things to other patients like he did to me, he could cause someone to take things way worse than I did. I don't want his patients to be put at any risk. So he must put things right and learn from his behaviour.
