Normally we have a great experience at Aldi. Helpful polite staff. This time was not so good. When a layer of water bottles collapsed and there were bottles falling everywhere as my husband tried to hold it up, I turned to ask a member of staff who is a manager to help us and he did his best to ignore the problem, with a customer lending us a hand. He finally came over and just tossed the rack to the side. This was rude and unprofessional and I was very upset. I'll not be back at the Rutherglen branch.

This Rutherglen ALDI is a much bigger than the one in Parkhead Forge. Bigger range of food too.Most fruit is still sold in plastic wire netting, which is surely a hazard because cutting it open causes tiny tiny plastic bits that can end up in the sink, down drains, into the sea...

Shocking customer service , announced that checkout 3 was opening , got in line goods unloaded as did 4 other folks .5 minute wait no cashier, then told checkout 3 was closing , 1 minute later told it was reopening, guess what it didn't.2 other checkouts did open , walked away left the goods after wasting approximately 15 minutes at the checkoutWent to Lidl they seem to know how to run a store
