How was Bank of Scotland is a difficult question to answer. In which respect are we talking? It's a bank,? service is good some staff members are more polite than others that's it. In respect of how they conduct their business. The current bank of England rate is around 5%. They swiftly write to you with warnings of mortgage and credit card rate increases but selfishly only offer 1.65% savings rate on an account with a decent sum of money in it. Then dangle a higher rate if you agree to tie up your money for years.At age 71 not an attractive proposition for me anymore. Been there, done it for decades as a loyal customer but honestly don't have the time anymore but its all about them and their excessive profits isn't it?They think us nieve.?

Bruce I see your comment is 2 Yrs old. After a few different visits lately I've found not much has changed since your comment. I only wanted a few old DD's stopped but was told with a SMIRK get intouch with the company I pay the DD's to. I ended up getting them cancelled on the phone to a descent guy who was very professional in his job and position. Lol if you can, go in early as possible they don't have much time for you after their morning shift. ?

The phone options are useless if you need to speak to a human then go to the bank directly.Absolute shambles.

Went there three time to remove dormancy from my account. Different excuses every time. Then I went to another branch same day and they done it straight away. You can imagine their professionalism, cannot do simple thing or don't want to do that. But thanks to other branch they have done that.

Absolutely spot on Bank! All the staff are amazing from the tellers to the managers. Nobody should listen to bitter Mccluskey, clearly this lad hasn't got a clue! Probably gets the service he deserves as a bad customer!!! Haha!!

This is one of the worst branches I've ever been in. A lady named Claire was very hostile from the get go and refused to cash a check in since the app had rejected it. She told me it would automatically be rejected since the app rejected it. Customer services via a phone call disagreed entirely with Claire. She also said that it wasn't possible to manually enter the check in the system which is totally incorrect.. Every branch has the ability to manually enter the check serial number etc. Claire had little to no knowledge, made more than 2 mistakes and had virtually no customer service skills. For me simply a friendlier attitude would of negated all of her flaws. I went to argyle Street branch and the service was much friendlier more professional and the check was cashed in within minutes.

To I called into the branch and was disgusted with the humiliation of verbal abuse I got and the manager was no help as he was on the defensive from the start and asked me what do you want me to do not the answer maybe follow procedures at this point I thought I'm not going to have my complaint listened to so I will be writing to the ceo as in the camera if watch you will see your member of staff swatting at me and also my name is not you as I was referred to not once was my name used thanks bank of scotland Rutherglen so professional
